  1. I had the same with a Mk4 R32, i was ahead of him on a dual carriageway, we came to the roundabout and he went round without seemingly having to slow down at all and it made me look like i was in a reliant robin, i must say though the Haldex makes you feel like your a good driver when your not, i can in the TT corner alot faster then the Corrado but its just not as fun as i know the car is doing alot for me, you can literally just point where you want it to go and floor it and you can feel it transferring the power to where it needs to be depending on steering angle and power applied, it does the rest for you. Thats the reason im staying FWD with diff so i can be in control and more involved so its more fun even if im slower.
  2. Cant comment on that but the dish goes into the arch then out if that makes sense as when you widen them you loose the going in bit and its just flat from the bolts then out and they look original not been polished and all. Something looks different though your right there.
  3. Most will love that on here, i dont like the huge aerial though. Rest looks sweet, who needs a Mrs  Corrado love all the way, just search for that on here and ye shall understand.
  4. Yep my jacking points are going that way too, nice choice in rims, never thought they would work.
  5. If only you knew the irony of what you are quite possibly suggesting Now i'm even more intrigued... :D Come on lets see em... Lets just say its taken 5 years to get the easier Recaro's as opposed to the super rare Recaro's that nobody else can find yet he has no trouble finding them.
  6. I have often thought about setting mine on fire to break the huge financial strain, its like the CSA, constantly having to pay out for the upkeep for 1 drive a week.
  7. :worthless: of these Recaro's. 5 years searching they must be pretty damn rare... If only you knew the irony of what you are quite possibly suggesting
  8. Fooook me, you won the lottery or something......top mods coming
  9. I have found out all i need is a set of Leon carriers to mount mine, what are you making?
  10. Yup thats the only ones i could think of too... but i think the brembo's are going on the TT
  11. This thread is making me want 15's now, they seem to look odd on 17's with the more i see. Anybody know what 15's will fit over 305mm brembo's or what other brilliant brakes will fit 15's?
  12. Nice one Karl, they the black leather trevor's you always wanted?
  13. Who was it on their private test track that goes all the way round Manchester doing a oner around 7.20pm tonight in a silver N reg with pressed plates, didnt catch much else apart from it looking pretty minty, i was in the silver TT trying to catch you up but you got off the junction before the M67.
  14. From that angle its perfect....
  15. Its like running a marathon, it does not matter how much you have prepared before hand for many years once you hit the wall there is no way past it, it all becomes irrelevant.
  16. Also they snap but are readily available too like he said. Does this mean my minty mint parcel shelf with unsnapped straps is now worth more than before. And you only lose points if they notice them.
  17. Yep and the S3 and TT stuff are interchangeable as they are the same i think.
  18. If you look at a pre 2002 TT they have no camber hardly but then post 2002 they were lowered from the factory inline with the s line spec suspension but they never changed the geometry to compensate for the increase in camber, so you can buy the adjustable tie bars to correct it.
  19. More education needed, in Germany you cant pass your test until you have had lessons and been tested on driving above a fast limit on the Autobahn.
  20. Sound deaden the doors and i mean full on outer skin and inner door frame work.
  21. Nice  Is it strange that my Clifford still lights up in valet when ignition off but ignition on it goes out of valet like it should do, yet nothing else works on it.
  22. Why spoil that nice engine with a grenade.
  23. Brill thanks for the offer of help. I have no idea what you need though so tell me exactly what info and i will try to find out. Any ideas on cost for the help, a few beers? :notworthy:
  24. I did get a nice firework show yes but thought nothing of it as i was rushing, it also gets better, i had my car half in the garage and half out as i needed it out the garage but the engine bay was inside still so the jump leads were not long enough to reach my van, hey presto i have 2 sets, 1 nice thick heavy duty set and a cheaper nastier set, joined the 2 together, perfect lenght now, when i realised what i had done wrong i saw the leads smoking away nicely where they joined.
