178bhp? Am always noticing rolling roads results of 190bhp+ on here etc White corrados must be slower imo, like a base model kinda thing.

I'll take the alternator. No harm in having a fourth.

Had enough of the one i use, its just a cheap electrolux one, i find the nozzles too large, the pipe gets in the way, the power button is broken so you have to keep a foot on it. Been looking for something else, but can't see anything i had in mind. Just wonder what other people use. It'll only be used for the car, not sure about some of the little handheld dustbuster types, can imagine them running out of power etc

On mine I checked all the hose clips and found some under the car really rusty and not clamping properly

Apparently its a one way valve. I lost mine and now got a massive one I had to buy and connect the pipes to.

I just had to replace the two larger sensors on filter housing. Something was leaking. Seemed to run hotter after that. But might just be a coincidence.

Same here replaced everything except the wiring. Even put another engine in and had to redo all the cooling system and still does it. Might be the gauge itself.

Its hard to tell as dash gauge has read low for ages. Goes up while sat still. But on the move it drops to just above 70c. Can't figure that out either :(

Hi all, have noticed the last week or so my oil temp has been higher than normal. Thought it might of been the hot weather but its the same today and much cooler outside. Its anything from 114-118 and thats just normal B-road driving, Not normally that high. I do notice my fans kicking in when sat in traffic and every time i park up. (am also sure they didn't always kick in every time i switched off, but they seem to now) My catalytic convertor is blowing slightly and the car a little bit lumpy (which i put down to the cat blowing)

I'm starting to think there is no perfect suspension, the roads are just terrible these days.

May be unrelated to the new battery I fittef the other day. Have noticed when sat idling with headlights on. I get a slight flickering of the headlights and the mfa display. Its sort of pulses with the engine. I seem to of noticed a slight lumpiness at lower revs when driving. That could unrelated. Maybe coilpack or leads.

I always thought weitec was a budget version of kw. I had the lowering springs and shocks by weitec already.

Thanks but i think i am going to buy new stuff, its the only way i'll be happy. Pic of how it sits at the moment, rear is probably a bit lower than the front. I've only lowered it this much to give the springs a bit more play, otherwise they are really compressed

The thickest bit where it comes off rad or the small pipe to header?

I can only fit 4 wheels on my car, 18 would be a nightmare :)
