  1. Yes, try holding top of wheel and rolling it back and forth, thats how i notice wishbone bushes
  2. Been experimenting this week. started off like this Untitled by AcePinJim, on Flickr Lowered it, mainly the rear, but looks wrong Untitled by AcePinJim, on Flickr Took the winter wheels off the front and lowered the front another 3 turns Untitled by AcePinJim, on Flickr Almost felt better instantly, still not 100% but much more planted than it did before, not sure if it was the tyres/wheels or the extra lowz i added to the front. Still going to see this Mark Fish guy about it though.
  3. At the moment I have winter tyres on the front and something else on the rear. But it feels more mechanical than tyres. About to take the winters off. Although when I had the 4 wheel alignment done I took the winters off
  4. Its like the plastic that the smallest plant pots you start seeds growing in are made of. Been noticing it doing its job when lifting the bonnet covered in rain. Loads of water ends up covering the scuttle tray. Also glad I got the plastic wiper motor cover too. Works great.
  5. Direct line wouldn't accept my corrado alarm, sent them the certificate and had to chase them to get it back, and they just refused to insure it for theft. So i left and went to admiral who were fine with it, now with HIC who are also fine with it
  6. I am not sure but i think i've heard of people buying them new from the dealers still.
  7. Fixed the photos in here now http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?76041-Quick-advice-on-dodgy-wheelhub Dunno if its the same issue you are having though.
  8. Interesting, i made VW get more off the shelf and they were the same inside. Really hard to see, but will be keen to see how you get on. I had to run a dremel up and down every spline a few times to get mine how i wanted it (didn't fancy having to hammer it back out each time a wheel bearing needed changing) Was an expensive week that week  and i didn't know if i was about to ruin a brand new hub with my dremel but seems ok now.
  9. Think I might of used some cherry cockpit shine in a moment of madness.
  10. If only the bottle is losing coolant then that would suggest the bottle is leaking. The bottle is the only place you check the level of the complete cooling system. If the radiator is leaking. The level in the bottle will drop. ---------- Post added at 10:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 PM ---------- Have you got coloured coolant like the vw stuff. Helps spot leaks. I think I now understand what you meant. Does it only leak till the bottle is empty then stop? Is it leaking when parked and cold? ---------- Post added at 10:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 PM ---------- Have you got coloured coolant like the vw stuff. Helps spot leaks. 11. Pulling wheelies and riding along on the back wheel is a lot harder than I remember it.
  12. They closed my local place completely. I really short notice too. Just gone the week after I heard.
  13. Yeah I scanned mine into the laptop to save me getting it dirty and I like to back things up like that for personal use.
  14. What do people use to clean their interior. I notice mine all looks more shiny and glossy than some of the ones I see on here. Prefer the matte look. Think mine must be covered in some sort of silicon type stuff. Had some sonus stuff but it went off and smells like crap now so I binned it.
  15. Looks great. Very clean. I found the bleeding of pas quite a lot easier than I thought. Did you have the rack off as well? I had to do lots of topping up. But think that was because I had the rack off and emptied all the fluid.

Evening. Welcome. Great choice of car. Being a corrado owner must be a lot harder without the advice of this forum imo.
  17. Thats a good plan, i already had one key wear out and using the spare now
  18. Just fitted the switch and it started start away, I hope that was the issue, i should of tried it before i took the old switch out in case it was something else. Oh well. Even managed to get the ignition switch screw back in afterwards :D
  19. Look for a thread I made. Search for spline. Should come up. Am on phone at the moment so hard to link. People also hammer the cv to get it out of hub. Which I found can stop the hub nut going on as it messes up the threads a bit. I ended up with 2 new cv joints and one new hub. Still wouldn't go together. Would only push in a litttle bit. Might be the same issue.
  20. Hello and welcome. Looks nice, i remember going to see my 1st corrado and was that colour. Is that a badge above the side repeater?
  21. Do you use the spring clips on the hoses or jubilee clips? I used jubilee ones and seem to keep finding ones I can tighten up a bit more.
  22. Sounds like mine. Drives crap. Especially trying to put foot down. Just all over the place. I've now replaced everything but rack and column all the bushes are new. Had it setup twice at two different garages and still seems wrong to me. Maybe it is just the roads but I remember driving it faster in the past and with more confidence. Am about to take it to a 3rd garage that seems to be a lot more of motor sport professional racing type place rather than the normal sort of garage. Will be my last attempt before I give up and buy a different car. :( Thats if I can get it to start lol. Always something.
  23. Well all the lights and stuff work ok. Battery shows 12.6volts. It makes no attempt to start. When I turn key to start it does nothing. A relay clicks and the power to everything else goes off like when you start car normally. Might find some time in the morning to see if starter is getting power.
