  1. Dropped it off at a new garage today (instead of the place i've used for 13yrs) Asked them to do the 4 wheel alignment and take it for a drive to see if they can notice whats up (am convinced its more than just the tracking/camber)
  2. What are nakamichi like nowadays? i had one of them for years and loved it, looked quite simple too, no bright lights and trendy button shapes.
  3. Bum is a little itchy but i'll get over it, thanks for asking
  4. Doesn't the aux water pump share something to do with lights? Am sure i noticed something weird with mine recently.
  5. Have you removed the grub screw first?
  6. Took me ages to get one side off. Mainly cutting the sealant and finding the right seam where wing joins. As soon as id done one, the other side was easy.
  7. I just made a bit of metal up with the dremel. Just a 90 degree angle that bolts to the tensioner.
  8. I cleared the drive with my petrol rc car. Worked great and had great fun. Not sure about the neighbours though. Thanks Mr bacon for that. Ha.
  9. i like the Z3 as well but it has a slight pope-mobile look to it
  10. I'm not looking at that exact one, just an example, i too don't like red seats, or cream. Just liked the photo in the petrol station/pit lane? tbh
  11. Cheers for the pics. Back end looks a bit higher than the front to me, also looks like they fit a late top plate. Been looking at places to order them and there seems to be two sorts of springs, some mention ABE?
  12. Been looking into these for a while, always like the looks of them, even the Z3 coupe i would be happy with. Purely based on looks, i don't know much about what they are like to own etc. Not sure if i'd bother with an M version either. http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4-coupe/bmw-z4-coupe-3-0-si-sport-2006-06-sat-nav-xenons/1021673 Seem quite a reasonable price at the moment and look great
  13. Found this rather funny......
  14. Do you use the earlier top plate with a late top mount? ---------- Post added at 3:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:51 PM ---------- This is the height of mine on the KWs, the back won't actually go any higher than that and i just did the front to match as best as i could.
  15. Am thinking of changing from my KW's to H&R springs, (probably Koni shocks from reading the forum) Has anyone got any pics of how they look? Do they use the late smaller diameter spring cap/top plate? My main worry is i've tried two sets of -40mm lowering springs before and both lowered the front too much, one didn't work very well with late top mounts due to top coil diameter etc. The only reason i bought the coilovers was so i didn't drop the front too much, but at the height i have it the coilovers are wound up really high and i find the suspension a bit stiff because of that. Want to get it right this time  Will be the 4th attempt
  16. I get mine from opie oils. Used the fuchs titan stuff for a few years now. Its about £15 for 5l. I tried expensive stuff for a while but couldn't justify the cost as mine seems to use quite a bit of oil.
  17. Is it petrol as in 2 stroke or nitro rc fuel?
  18. I got local garage to do the rear ones. Cost a tenner. The powerflex ones are easy to do. But the r32 ones have a really soft metal shell so didnt fancy wrecking them myself.
  19. Fitted the R32 rear wishbone bushes and powerflex front ones. Debushed the wishbones Difference in the bush (main thing i notice different is the hole in the metal part is smaller, actually a better fit) Front Bushes, melted these out with some fire Rubbed the wishbones down Painted Rebushed the wishbones Fitted them. Car looks filthy underneath already  (but i spose it is the bottom of car so to be expected)
  20. I do have a complete set of each, but waiting for 2 of the BBS ones to be refurbished Got some tyres on the other speedlines.
  21. Nice and dirty again, is back to being my daily now. ^^^Is only 3day of going to work, was spotless before that. Had to take wishbones off this weekend to fit R32 bushes and powerflex front ones, hoping to get it back together tonight.
  22. My fan is exactly the same. Squeals when turning. Must get round to sorting it.
  23. I always think an Audi S2 will make a good corrado replacement, shame they getting just as old now.
