I know mine just screwed in, but might of been something in the floor already, i could find out over the weekend. i remember that the plastic kick plate had to go in first, but the stop didn't screw into that iirc just went through it

Mine is again. Used it daily for 3-4yrs. Took it off the road and spent 18months replacing most parts. Cleaning everything up underneath. Getting all the running gear spotless. Now its back to being a daily and getting filthy again. May as well gets my moneys worth.

Hoping to get it all done this weekend, as corrado is now my daily and my runaround got scrapped a couple of weeks ago. I should've replaced them during the rebuild but they weren't very old so took the chance

Any pics of it, been clicking through **** loads of pages of this thread and struggling to find many :(

I think as the wheel is shifting forward and back within the arch its causing steering to go light. Especially round corners.

I'm just really good at keeping my foot still so don't it

Using a halfords pro torque wrench, then have a 2ft snap on bar which i used last night and turned the bolt maybe once or twice but took some effort so i might of just overdone it. I'm not sure if the bolt was loose or i just managed to turn it some more it last night with the snap on bar. Might be the bush is buggered. Driving it now and the wheels spin up far too easy and is locking up under braking too easily as well. Going to limp home and start to take it apart i think. I swear it never driven right is always something needs changing.

Ok, cheers anyway

I have fitted new original stuff in the past. I just rebuilt everything but used the wishbones i already had which were quite low miles and a couple of years old. Last time it happened i dropped it off at a garage and got them to fit a new wishbones as i lost patience, that one seemed fine until i took it off and refitted it  so maybe its me but i followed the manual to the word Have just ordered the R32 bushes and powerflex front ones and going to have to try and fit them all this weekend  Bloody car!!, i only just tidied the garage up and put tools away.
-
Would you have the front wishbones still?
-
Having problem with my rear wishbone bush and its the 2nd time the same thing has happened. Both times a few thousand miles after fitting new wishbones, the wheel shakes about in arch (back and forth) and its the rear wishbone bush that has gone or the bolt loose. Am i fitting them wrong as its the 2nd time now. I tried to fit them then torque them up when car was back on the ground instead on in the air. Although its a bit hard with lowered car and no ramps.
-
Did you order them? Are they correct? Seems quite cheap Am about to change mine again and think i'll go with r32 bushes

Found out mine lights up when you turn headlights on.

Will have another sniff around then, am sure the bits i did smelt less than the bits going to carbon cannister.

can't say i've ever noticed my heated seat switch light up, the heating works though

i put the part number into google without the spaces and everything suggests V-maxx, they look like the ones on V-maxx site as well http://www.v-maxx.com/uk/products/coilover-kits/

I always thought the VR6 had a different shaped panel as the rad is bigger and goes in at an angle, but i don't know that for definite.
-
Have noticed a petrol smell at the front of car when stood near it/washing it etc. Its right by the carbon canister thing (VR6 engine) Is it normal? not used car for 18 months so can't remember if it smelt before. I recently replaced the fuel lines on side of engine and don't think its these. Does the carbon cannister wear out or need replacing?

Hello & welcome, Is getting a bit quiet around here recently so nice to see some new people every so often. I think females that like corrados are almost as rare as corrados themselves.
