Corrado Gear Surround, Rocker Cover + Window Module & Loom
Jim Bowen replied to StueyB's topic in Parts for Sale
I tried to buy something from him months ago and ended up giving up, after not getting any replies to messages etc. Heard nothing about the spoiler mech so giving up on that as well. -
I bought one, it was fine worked no problems, lent it to a mate and never saw it again. Bought a new one and it leaked at every connection, where it connected to tyres, the lid, the tube inside kept falling off the lid, the other tube coming out of lid leaked. I had to seal it all up with silicone that day

Is the spoiler mech a new item?

I went with HIC this year, but i don't think the price i'm paying is very good, last time i had corrado on the road it was nearer £400 to insure, am currently paying something like £600 I couldn't be arsed to argue it as wanted insurance and didn't even bother ringing around. But am 31yrs old, 9yrs NCB, had the car 6yrs and the excess is £350. I will be ringing around next year.

They sort of sit separate above the fusebox in their own little circuit bit, can't make sense of why its worked for 2days then stopped working when i've not been using it
-
1st day bringing it back to work today. Getting used to the speed of it again, its like a rocket ship
-
I think so, but can't say for sure.

Had this problem 2yrs ago, but not really used car since. With my front seats (electric movement) the fuse keeps blowing so both stop working. Got car back on road at weekend and had fixed it, was working all weekend, came to work in it today and they aren't working now. Am guessing its the fuse again (not looked) but why would this happen?
-
Cheers. Just I insured and taxed it this morning and been out for 35mile drive. All seems great. Reminds me why I love the car.

I have a gearbox mount. Its used but I couldn't see any difference between it and the new one. Just pay postage and you can have it.

Are there many different types other than inpro lights? am sure i heard of some other make along the way. What i really want is the clear headlight lenses from them, but would buy a whole set if price was right.
