LOL, I was waiting for someone to chime in with that  Who cares anyway, engines I consider to be wear / disposable items. They are still a factory block and head, but with new innards. The car itself has done 180K  You have completely changed your engine for one that was never even in a Corrado, so you're not part of the club  lol, i think my engine, interior & bodywork is about the only things to of done 180k, feels like i've replaced most of the other stuff now

....thats because the VR is a REAL performance coupe under bigger stresses  ......sorry, figured you couldnt get offended as you have both :norty: TBH, I think it's because the early cars were built better. what year is your VR? i've always told myself the later ones were better built :norty:

sometimes it isn't just a cause of water getting it, it could just be moisture trapped inside the car. could you try a tub of that silcia (sp) gel you get with trainers sat in the car for a few nights, i remember seeing a mate using it at home to get moisture out of some double glazing

that is the other side of it, although i bought mine totally standard, the shocks were worn out, the brakes kept seizing, the rubber bushes in suspension all perished and didn't last long, so i've had to replace alot anyway
