  1. if you get a dremel get a corded one imo, you get full power all the time and don't really notice the lead
  2. i did mine with a dremel Took ages, get loads of mess everywhere, but suprising how much rust/corrosion came off with the dremel, i had done them with a wire wheel and they looked ok but not very smooth. i'd look at shotblasting if i did it again. Some of the home/portable kits are quite cheap or find a local company in the yellow pages
  3. it is amplified? where does the power cable run through to the battery? does it get near the clutch mech under bonnet?
  4. good old corsasport, i used to use that site all the time, but am banned now :(

    door cards gap

something is fitted wrong thats for sure, does the doorcard feel loose or tight?
  6. i agree, i love the way the front end is designed, its almost as if the number plate was thought about while designing it, not just chucked on afterwards
  7. Not very helpful.. you askled some howlers at first too Corsa... :nono: i always try to follow up a sarcastic answer with a useful one
  8. in your previous posts you state its a 1994 vr6, i may be wrong but i thought storms were 1996 maybe 1995 too
  9. Whats the top speed in reverse?
  10. i thought that although the spring platforms may all be at the same height on shocks all round, this may not mean your suspension is level. As you aren't actually directly adjusting the height when compressing the spring.. does that make any sense at all or shall i ignore myself
  11. any deals on Fuchs Titan XTR 10w/40?? i could do with another 20ltrs
  12. once you have undone the door handle and got one side free, turn the whole handle up through 90 degrees to how it normally sits then pull it out,. i found it easier
  13. i've never understood the "sucked up all the crap at bottom of tank" people say this to me still "oh the vr6 is bad for sucking the crap out the tank, don't let it get near empty" ?????? surely the fuel filter stops that
  14. i never dodge animals, unless i think they will damage the car  at least it wasn't a rear quarter meeting a tree :D
  15. Depends what the owner has put in to it imo, i've seen nice sub 100,000 mile examples for £4-5k, but they have no new parts on them, just serviced when the book says so and then left parked most of the time etc. I'd rather pay more money for something with a long list of new parts on it. I wouldn't sell mine for less than £3k as it not worth selling for less than that, even though it has 178,000 miles on it
  16. looks brilliant, love the shiney paint. Do you have to have yellow lights by law? Don't like them
  17. why not have lower prices all year round instead of these offers every other week? pmsl..
  18. think i'm just going to stick bigger speakers in the back of car somewhere. i was planning to get audioscape pods but have been put off them
  19. this is something i fear getting around to sorting out is my ABS the light on dash has never come on, and while taking dash apart i found the bulb had been cut out of it and the whole thing wrecked in the process. And under the bonnet, the wiring on the brake fluid thing isn't connected. I asked the last owner and he said the light keep coming on but he couldn't find a fault so left the wiring undone, but he never mentioned the ABS thing had no bulb.
  20. Nice one. Looks great.... Is that white on the rims or silver? Recognise the church too
  21. Been following this for a while........not bad for a corsa forum  http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewt ... 281&page=1 if you want to get the idea of it, its a long thread, just look at car on 1st page, then on page 15
  22. i might be wrong, but i thought i spotted mine behind the dash bits in front of gearstick
