  1. had mine done by jedi knight and i noted down what he said. i've since got a DA polisher and the only area of paint on the car i experienced any problem with (went through the paint on an edge and revealed white primer) was the area that read the thickest on the depth thingy. I think most of the car was around 120 somethings (microns?) and the area i went through was over 200 iirc and that was using a less abrasive pad and polish than i had used on the bonnet
  2. i've looked into this too as i will take my car there, (when its all working) i've found a fishing lake nearby that i might visit. But am going to take a friend and get him to drive up with my fishing gear and me in the rado lol

  12. fitting it all is pretty straight forward, but you might/will need someone to set it all up afterwards. i've changed mine 3 times now  and before got the corrado i had never carried out any work on a car before, not even brake pads. I just looked at the idiots working in most garages and thought "if they can do it, then i can do it"

  14. They are always like that. You will never beat a corsa driver in an arguement about cars as they always resort to the price arguement :cuckoo:
  15. just reading this on a forum i visit.... http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewt ... 126&page=1 Halfway down the page he lists the cars the other guy owns: "Hes got.. Audi A3 1.8T (old shape) Mk2 Golf Mk5 Golf 2.0TDi VW Corrado 2.9V6 as i said, bit of a VAG Nut" :norty:

  17. i read that too when mine was stuck. i got in but didn't cut anything, only broken the front grill a little. once the grill is off there is room to get a metal rod with a hook on the end (like the rod in door that links the interior handle to the lock/catch ;) get that in there and hook onto the mech and pull towards you.
