  5. looks like the thermostat housing, very common to crack as its made of plastic. its not too hard to change
  6. yep, thats all i did, i got the 1st one in the wrong place and was really arse awkward getting it off again
  7. i've never tried to open my sunroof :lol: was told it all worked fine but i don't want to break it, i saw some nasty scratches on here from sunroof problems
  8. i reckon the suspension turrents on the car may be different on early and late corrados not sure, just a guess, can't really work out what was wrong with mine

  11. GSF list these ones SB90130 SPARKPLUG-F5DP0R CO VR6 AAA/ABV Engs. £6.50 SB95009 SPARKPLUG-FR8LDC CO VR6 8/91 > £2.50 quite a difference in price :lol: i think these are bosch plugs maybe?
  12. should be the same, its just a smaller volume of air, but you want it at the same pressure

  14. Had a misfire for a while and am going to service the car, thinking i may as well get new plugs and leads. Which are best for a standard VR6? Plugs and leads. What size leads fit in the standard clips on the plastic covers? 7mm? is there anything i need to know when i replace these? never done it before :lol: i bought the removal tool already, do i need a feeler gauge is it

  17. I just went to VW garage with these part numbers 8N2955408D = arm, 2no. required 8N2955425E = blade, 2no. required came to £105, expensive it seems, but worth it, such a good improvement
  18. have you got the correct wheel bolts? good efforts so far, looks great already
  19. pretty poor pics, the arms meet in the middle, i don't see it being a problem though
  20. just fitted them, simple really, i not sure the bending acheived much, i was too scared to break anything, but they seem to work ok. the passenger side does catch the scuttle trim at the bottom but its such a small amount i'm going to leave it and see what happens
  21. had all mine done the other week while getting all the calipers etc replaced. I ended up paying someone else to do it. I bought a flaring tool (nice one) but never used it, was tempted to sell it on if it would be any use to anyone
  22. i'm glad there's cars like this representing corrados today :D looks fantastic still
