have you got a funny tax disc holder?

Typical, just get the car fixed and back on road after forking out most of my wages and today i notice one of my headlights has a big chip in it :( i hear people talking about lenses? can you get the glass on its own? do you have to mess about with glue etc. am i right in thinking late spec ones are from 1992 onwards?

is there a lighter shade than that for foglights etc?

i've just had brakes fitted and the garage that bled them said they bled the calipers, master cylinder, and the abs something

i feel gutted, like ferrari, can i call some kind of stewards enquiry? :lol:

whats the point of taking one good looking car and adding the front and rear from two pretty crap wagons, quite possibly the worst front end you could of choosen :lol:

looking really good in some of the above pics, i never really liked red cars until i've seen a few nicely modded ones on here, yours included :) do you mean the engine mount has come loose and ruined all the front end components to the wheels? :(

VR6 on the front grill is just clipped on, take grill off and it will be obvious rear VR6 is just glued with that sticky foam stuff. To get mine off i use fishing line and start one end and kinda "saw" along it with the piece of line, pulling towards you so you not rubbing on the paint

the clump of wires from the switch runs to the back of the fuse box, (which is next to your bonnet release handle)

i bet the owner never uses it to pick stuff up :lol:

yeah if you have the big hoop, then all i did was made up a right angle bracket with some holes in it

i've found it not so bad if you gentle with the revs, but if you hard on the gas it really does roar. I might try the pipe idea then. 288's look ace, the handbrake is amazing, i've had so much annoyance with all the brakes since i got the car. A bit spongy still you have to push pedal at least halfway down before anything happens. might rebleed them after a few hundred miles. am being really gentle with them as i've warped new discs before :lol: got the bmc fitted to the tensioner bolts, made up a bracket with the dremel and something off a fence post :lol:

just unscrews, but can be quite tight as there is some kind of sticky tape/glue stuff too

got car back from garage, brakes are all on now :D not had a chance to drive it with the bmc until today and its fecking loud!!!! like really loud and aggresive :lol: not sure i like it, actually found myself driving more sensible so it wasn't too loud. Has anyone else thought this? its VR6 btw

i had a decat on a previous car and they wouldn't let it through the MOT and it sounded really loud and raspy :( not even heard my bmc yet, so i don't know how loud that is

i think so yes, they are the standard tyre size, 205/55/R15 is it?

its just the weitec -40mm kit, was a budget kit i choose at the time as didn't have even money to get expensive suspension and replace the other things i wanted to do. its quite a small gap on the front compared to the rear, i'd guess around 2cm
