  1. whats wrong with 75? mine sits at the 80 mark most of the time
  2. i might be getting one of them liftamajigs :D paints looking nice in the pic of it in the air
  3. nice, i like the gaiters :) i tried to fit a leather gaiter to my handbrake but it seemed to get in the way too much, do you have to remove anything? also where did you get the handle for handbrake? dealers? i could do with one of those
  4. right after mucho thinking and talking to people, reading books etc it seems that all my dodgy steering could be caused by the fact that the front is so low, its only a -40mm spring kit but seems much lower. the chap at the garage pointed out that my wishbones aren't parrell to the road anymore, they are higher at the wheel end. Which from what i've been reading can cause all the characteristics i talk about front is alot lower than the rear
  5. can you hear the motor or does it seem like the switch is at fault might be worth checking the wires in the hinged area of door
  6. i think thats what ill do :D are yours standard lights sprayed or with film? or are they aftermarket ones?
  7. i did about 4 coats of folia tec stuff, maybe i'm coating it too light? yeah i should of got rid of the lettering first  i won that light on ebay for £6 so just a test run really. if i wet sand the lettering on the part that is already red, how do i get the shine back, just spray the whole cluster with the red spray?
  8. yes its been said the boot was open  i totally didn't think of that (in american accent) cheers fla, the finish came out well but i think it looks a bit ginger
  9. there was a few pics somewhere on here of them building corrados at the karmann factory i have a pic of the golf train
  10. i've never had radio in a car  thats 8-9yrs of driving
  11. heres the one i tried to tint with spray, not too good and i think its made me decide to get all red rears
  12. they are a bit like sticking lexarse lights on  i was thinking to do the same as you have just bought, i.e: buy some clear crystal ones and paint them. Otherwise ill end up with that orange tinge still
  13. has anyone had this installed on a car before? Whatabout a standard corrado VR? its cheap for the gains and instead of fitting a turbo or charger you can choose when to use it
  14. here's the choice of lights i can find on ebay, anyone bought the smoked ones?
  15. lol, well that solves that then....i'm an idiot
  16. they really suit your white one, especially with the smoked windows too :) that last pic you posted is what i mean about the poor fitting aftermarket ones (B19 VWC) they look all over the place to me and give you the look of vauxhall build quality
  17. get some pics up vwdeviant, ill be interested to see how they come out, especially close ups
  18. i don't like them, too many badges for a small space
  19. i think he has two sets of fairings, the engine from a factory version, complete brembo brake setup, am sure there's more but waiting for him to produce a list
  20. do you want to buy any spares for it? lol
  21. yeah there's still part of me that likes the standard ones
  22. mmmmm......the problem i can see with aftermarket lights is they don't fit as well, especially the FK ones. got photoshop working better, remembered my tools. standard Red Smoked think smoked looks better if i tint the reverse light too
  23. i what to get rid of the orange on rear of car as it looks dated, and somedays i fancy a change. but i don't know what i fancy, all red rears or red and smoked, i tried to photoshop the choices but that came out bad i bought some spare rear lights and tried to tint them with the spray on stuff but its not right, you can still see the orange lense a bit underneath, so next time i think ill buy the lights with a clear upper and change that. anyone got pics of their lights and can say how they were tinted would be handy pic of my car at the mo.
  24. never seen this thread before, another great corrado :) i would of kept the grill black if it were me am starting to think i have an unhealthy obsession with them
  25. i've got all mine on now, took it to a garage to fit it all in the end. its nice to have brakes again
