isn't there a stalling test or something you can do with clutch?
-
i don't know when the plugs and leads were last done, would they affect engine at all, its deffo a problem i didn't have before like you go round a corner in 4th quite slowly go to put power on and it misses and kinda jolts the car, then seems to go as normal
-
ahh, so its not the clutch, i did wonder if it could be coil pack related. tbh i getting really suspiscous of what the garage have done when they service it, i'm thinking nothing :( its only started doing it recentely. i.e: i know it didn't do it before

i've noticed that after parking for a while a going to drive off again sometimes the clutch/engine seems to shuddder also get it when driving at low revs like 1000rpm then accelerating for example if i put car in 5th at 20-30mph then put foot down i just get a thudding, feels like the clutch is slipping to me :(
-
i manage to get in and out fine, so did the last guy who owned my car, the bolsters aren't even worn after 162,000 miles :! left foot in, hold the a-pillar with right hand, swing in with arse in the air then sit down

i like the uk style, quite popular around here

sounds like it could be a sensor or reader type thing playing up, but thats my measly knowledge having a try.

i use the silkolene pro s stuff now, 10w 50 fully sythentic. noticed bugger all difference to car, maybe uses a tiny bit less of oil but that could well be in my head, doesn't sound or drive any differently. quite expensive stuff too at about £80 for 10 litres

i have a little 306 that i use, but hardly drive it unless corrado is broken, i just can't stand the wobbleness, the slowness and the frenchness of it, really gets me angry on drive home, so use the corrado more -
i used pritt stick  just to hold them in place, till i got card on, that seemed to hold them
-
i mixed my coolant up nearly 50/50, more like 60/40 is that right?
-
:lol::lol: @ mave they should use that on tv one day

i got a V8 in the land rover, but never really played with it much, bit different to a road car though, still nice and noisy though
-
i hate sunroof threads, i've never tried opening mine since i got the car, i didn't want it to get stuck? what happens when it breaks? does it damage anything, like paint?

what were your reasons for selling rado? i like the preludes, almost got the earlier model, but kept finding ropey ones -
just saw the links above, thats quite a story
-
it has a wonky light, bad fitting bumper, leather looks crazed and mileage is wonky? are those things to be wary of?
-
mine died a little while ago and i assumed its the motor, not got round to looking yet, but can hear my relay click, just nothing moves or makes a noise at the rear. i was going to blank it off with a gromit, are the motors expensive?
-
lovely! what a great example, i wouldn't molest it too much, clear side reps and leave the rear lights original imo also what are all the other corrados i see in the background looking sorry for themselves? :(
-
can you wax on top of EGP? or is it used instead of a wax? i got that and collinite at home
-
i'd whack some tyres on those, and use them round a track, am sure a little bit of extra width on tyres will be the last thing you will be worrying/thinking about
