They aren't easy to find these days
-
Few random jobs over the weekend, can't do much more with engine until i get the injectors. Got some SPAL fans from http://www.serckservicesmotorsport.co.uk/ (Great service, cheaper than everywhere else, arrived the next day, would recommend) Mounted them on my rad Retrimmed the headlining, went for black Put some laquer on the rear end, not the best match and still needs a polish, but better than the rust spots, will get a full respray one day. Then emptied the rear end which has been full of engine parts, cleaning the floor up and painted a couple of rusty bits

Yes it does. They all seem to fall off. Mine hasn't been there for years
-
I have the mi witness front and rear cameras with the parking mode. Quite pleased with it.
-
Am sure if yours is a 1995 VR it will have the plus suspension, i'm not totally sure what the difference on the shock is though
-
Just chucking bits in, most of it temp fitted as i still need to get injectors and fuel rail, just wanted to make sure the oil catch can and new ABS bits aren't in the way.
-
I used to find when the alarm was unsynced it would go off as you turn the key. Hazards would flash etc I think you can check power at the starter motor if its the switch.

Is quite common with aftermarket springs. They are designed to fit the early style spring plate which is larger diameter. People say you can use the early spring plates with the later top mounts (which are separate bearing and rubber bush). Must be someone on here that has that setup. Didn't seem right when i tried it.am sure it messes with the ride height. The early plates are taller as well.

They are near Saffron Walden in Essex, just up the road from me, some weird thing sat out the front, not quite sure what it is, looks like a rally truck.

Iron X Bilberry wheel cleaner Always liked autogylm super resin polish Dodo juice red mist Poorboys natural look on the interior (love that stuff)
-
Sounds similar to an ignition switch issue.

After a cap for the brake fluid res, another part i can't find, it will probably show up once i've finished, but in the mean time if anyone is selling one fairly cheap i'd just buy that instead.

Also, Just about to order my 11inch fan and there are two types listed. http://www.serckservicesmotorsport.co.uk/11-inch-fans/spal-11-inch-fan-12v-suction-type-curved-blade-2076609-285847-669401.php http://www.serckservicesmotorsport.co.uk/11-inch-fans/spal-11-inch-fan-12v-suction-type-curved-blade-2076607-285847-669399.php The SPAL part number is slightly different and the flow rates differ -

So did you just plug one end into the existing fan plug on corrado wiring? I'm thinking of cutting off the existing connectors -
Phoned up Mr injector and after speaking with him, am thinking i might just send mine off for him to do, £12.50 and injector isn't too bad.
-
if you don't mind, it would be a great help. My local VW isn't so local anymore.
-
Not too bad, they are pretty stiff so take a bit of bending to get in the correct position, i used those ear clamps that you squeeze together with special pliers.
-
Yeah i had seen him, but i have an ultrasonic cleaner and am running out of money now
-
anyone know or got a pic of there teves20? Don't think mine came with a lid, i did have the corrado lid but lost it for the moment, and previously with the wires plugged into the lid the handbrake light was always on unless i unplugged it

Looking to buy this http://www.turbonoz.co.uk/volkswagen-rebuild-kits/TNTIRKB0346.html Trouble is i can't get hold of the shop selling them to make sure i get the right thing. Anyone know where else i can buy the same sort of kit?

I couldn't give up, have given friends stick for not completing things in the past so had to finish. Chuggs, its not too hard really, i just picked up the spanners one day after getting in a huff about other peoples work, thinking i could do better myself. Got the Techtonics down pipe on lastnight Few gearbox bits (am expecting the gearbox to need a rebuild in the future but couldn't afford it this time round so got a spare i was going to drop off at stealth when i get the engine mapped. Also fitted the PTFE fuel lines and gruvenparts clips.

Am sure i put paste on it before and it leaked, so will go without this time. Cheers for the reply
