Hi, Welcome I got mine at 25yrs, insurance wasn't too bad.
-
I think tbe team dynamics pro race 3 are light. That's what I'll be getting at some point.
-
Looks really nice that. Love it. Makes me get urges to get mine back on the road. Welcome.

I reckon in haynes manual terms it would be at least a 4 out of 5 spanner job. Its one of those jobs where you start to think about replacing other bits while your there. Like the timing chains and then the clutch if needed.

Been chopping tonight and may be able to get the welder to fabricate something. Will see what he says. Will let people know. Thanks chaps.

Looks nice to me. Interested to see them sourcing it. I think a decent original vr are quite hard to find now. Not many on ebay or pistonheads.

97 in a 70, what's the probable outcome?
Jim Bowen replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Off-topic Chat
Wow, quite a fine, i got caught doing 93mph in a 70mph and was 3 points and £60 fine. I guess that few miles an hour makes the difference. Glad i've not been caught doing 130mph+ -
I'll get a photo over to you, probably over the weekend. Thanks.

Thanks, I just received some sill repair sections from there, took 4 weeks and was about to get welder chap round next week and i've cut out the bit of sill, but found the rot goes up the wheel arch a little, so need something in a hurry.
-
I need some of the drivers side rear wheel arch, where it meets the sill. A long shot i know but thought i'd ask.
-
I'm removing mine the moment. I was going to connect that inlet pipe to the blue valve mounted on the suspension arch turret. Is your carbon cannister etc all still there?
-
My seats and fuel pump are on 224,000miles, the rest i've changed
-
I'd be scared to drive with wheels that nice

Always check the pin machine before paying !!

I felt angry just reading that. -
Same here, did my heater matrix and removed mine too.

i think the baby should be charged with being an accessory to the crime
-
Yeah, at least a bruise/cut repairs for free.
-
Just don't see the point, especially if its random like that.
-
You could try to keep turning it on and off multiple times with the odd wiggle to see if it randomly starts
-
Very nice.

VR6 ABV crank position sensor question - now fuel pressure issue
Jim Bowen replied to fendervg's topic in Engine Bay
Great news, hope its fixed. Interesting re: the pumps, i've gone to a 2.8 block instead of a 2.9, but left original pump in, can't see that being an issue, or rather hoping that's not an issue -
Yeah, your the first to ask so i'll remember, hopefully all 12 are good, i could only test the ohms and they were all the same.
-
Its Ok, Leon263 is sending me one as well  I can imagine somewhere a little blue thing is rolling around a sorting office and people wondering what machine it fell off!!
-
I've ended up sending the injectors off to Mr Injector. Sent him 12 of them, so may have a set for sale very shortly. (depending on what he find during service) Some may be duff. Keep thinking i'm almost done  Am looking forward to driving it, although its going to look exactly the same from the outside. Thanks for the grommit, unfortunately all that arrived was an empty envelope with a grommit sized hole in it, must of been stacked up or gone through something that pushed the grommit out the enevelope :(

I got excited for a moment.
