  1. I've only looked at the exhausts so far, the TT borla and a downpipe, can't see a manifold/header for the VR6 listed. Are there any other NA tuning parts i should consider?
  2. Don't you have the TT Borla exhaust? Thanks for offer of decat, i may take you up on that offer. Will see where i get with exhaust first.
  3. Just been on the techtonics site in US and they have a Black friday sale on for the next few days. :D
  4. Thinking of getting a complete system. Manifold to tailpipe. It seems the supersprint will be the best manifold. Then I guess I'd need performance cat or I could go decat. Is it just two boxes after the cat? Do people get rid of one of them?
  5. I know what you mean, i feel a bit like i don't approve of them, but don't know why
  6. Great, think everything is sorted now then, rescued the immobiliser thing out the bin lastnight  Finally got the complete ABS loom out, Got a right pain near the fusebox. Going to fit the fixed steering column mod while dash is out.
  7. I saw a set on there yesterday for £150 buy it now
  8. Found an "R" Not sure who did that? Alarm is now out Another question, what are these boxes fixed onto the inside of dashboard, behind the headlight switch. The spoiler connected and the little plastic ring about ignition barrel connected there as well. Is immobiliser separate to the alarm? Do i need to keep the little halo thing on ignition?
  9. Agree with the comments, i've got through a couple of dremels now and find they are best for tiny work only. I get on well with a homebase power drill and some wire brush attachments. Also if i were to buy another dremel i'd buy a cheaper named one, my brother just got a Ryobi one which seems just as good.
  10. If you can see the slot from the top then it's ok.
  11. I bought my cylinder head from him in the past and was no problem. Bought the abs system and oil catch can setup from him. Took a while and a few deliveries. But he got it all sorted in the end and I'm happy with the parts.
  12. My abs hasn't worked for the 8yrs or so I've owned the car. Not sure I really want it but thought this was a good chance to fix it properly and will save hassle on future mots
  13. I bought p3rks whole setup from him.
  14. Cheers. Should be able to get that out tomorrow.
  15. Excellent. Alarm is out now. Just need to join a few wires back together. Nearly got the abs out as well. Where does the wire go when it branches off from the passenger side sill under the carpet and over the hump in middle of car. Didn't manage to get the drivers seat out today.
  16. They all seem to be made by a place called JCS. I bought loads and looked at loads and ended up coming to the conclusion not that many people make jubilee clips. They just buy them in. I did have problems with hoses popping off or leaking and the clips damage the hoses. I'm only going to use the spring clamps on coolant hoses from now on.
  17. Cheers, i have a decent 2nd car now, so can sort the corrado out properly and won't be driving it to work everyday.
  18. Just put the original manifolds back on for now, Might try and get a supersprint manifold at some point, keeping an eye on german ebay. Been tidying bay up a little, just sorting through the wires etc, getting my head around what i need to remove and fit for the Teves20, think i know where i'm going now. Messy bay.. Uncleaned side, very dirty, it has done 220,000miles, driven all year round. Decided to start on one side and just work my way around the entire bay, otherwise i just seem to stare at it and wonder where to begin  Got the ABS loom separated out in the bay and then started taking the dash out today, Was alot easier than i thought. I want to remove the original alarm system, am i correct in thinking these two boxes are part of that? its the vag/scorpion 5000. Its the 2nd one i'm unsure about.
  19. MIght send them mine to do while it out :)
  20. What would be the symptoms of having the intermediate sprocket 180 degrees out?
  21. I got mine from a place called hcl clamping, just need to get my list together of what i bought, as i bought loads wrong in my first order.
  22. Yeah, its bits of old rubber floor mats  My new battery didn't quite sit high enough, i plan to make something better, its all i had at the time, but works quite well really. I think the pic is with the rubber removed, its just left an imprint, i sprayed wax under the battery last time i was there.
  23. I'd want owl poop on it and maybe a bale of straw in the boot.
