  1. No, we look cool! Nice car by the way Phil. :thumbleft:
  2. I saw this car for the first time yesterday and it is even better in the flesh. I am now completely sold on those wheels, they looked so much better than I thought they would. Paint looked awesome, interior is lovely and enginebay very tidy. It was so quiet idling I didn't even think it was running at all. Lovely lovely job and if you lived closer to me i'd have you round to work on my car Jay! :thumbleft:
  3. Sorry KADVR6 (and Rob_B), I was commenting more on the state of the deer than the car, didn't actually realise it was Rob_B's C - major bummer :( . Also I wasn't really moaning about the train ride just describing the death of the deer.
  4. I reckon that was the one i passed, as i was about 20 mins ahead of you guys. Ah yeah. Only just spotted your first post! Just spotted another C, dark green I think - H Reg driving through the centre of Wadebridge (Cornwall), had inpro rear lights.
  5. That's bad but nothing compared to what I experienced yesterday... My train from Bristol to Exeter was 5 minutes from Exeter @ 90mph when the brakes slammed on and there was a crunching and banging under the train like we had driven over a small tree. Then we stopped and 5 minutes later the driver announces there's been a 'line side incident' then 20 minutes after that he announces it may be a 'human fatality'! Time goes by and we're told the police are coming and that human fatalities normally take 1.5 to 2.5 hours to investigate before the train can move. . Another 30 minutes go by (just over an hour alltogether + a free cup of tea) and we're told it was infact a deer! And believe me, judging by the noises I heard when we ran over this god forsaken animal it would have been quite a display outside the train! :pukeleft: Poor deer. :(

    Which oil?

I think you'll find high oil temps mean lower power as well. Once you get over 110 you start using a few BHP.
  7. Nah like dinkus says it's all wear and tear & looks like your coilovers will cure quite a few of the problems. :)
  8. I'll let Dub_nut_g60 tell you. Make sure it's the FULL story!
  9. We spotted a yellow one heading down the M3 towards Southampton early yesterday morning.
  10. Tempted to take the morning off work and join you... If I had my C I would but right now i'm forced to drive the yellow 205. Good luck! :)

    2.8 or 2.9 vr6

    Is the 2.8 OBD1 or 2?
  12. That is awesome. Didn't believe it until I saw the pics! Incredible. But you couldn't drive it! :)

    Suspension Time!

    1. Adjustability. Some shock/spring kits aren't low enough for some people. AFAIK 'cheaper' coilovers wont match the quality of (for example) koni/h&r. 2. http://www.larkspeed.co.uk is suppsed to be good. I got mine straight from Stealth but it was a seasonal no VAT discount. 3. Front topmounts & rear bumpstops. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=39334
  14. Some one sign up and post it on here.. Beadle Forum..!
  15. TBH You're better sticking with standard. It provides more than enough pressure (4bar rings a bell) and can sustain it for long periods. A more powerful pump could cause a rich mixture.
  16. No! This is a Corrado Forum! Are you talking VR6 Golf?
  17. AFAIK The average speed is worked out from using the distance reading and the time reading (S=DxT). Dunno if that helps.
  18. Dude, major bummer. What has the seller said? :( LOL @ greasy hamster.
  19. I think the old one looks very dated in comparison now & I was never really a fan of it anyway. New one rocks. :)
  20. I think it's when your lights 'bend' round the corner slightly as you turn.
  21. http://www.fourtitude.com/news/publish/ ... 2142.shtml I think it's really nice infact. Looks like an evil cat from the front and good from pretty much every other angle as well. Once you see them on the road the old ones are going to look very...old. :)
  22. I thought it looked less 'hairdressery' than the current one. I'd drive it. :)
  23. Welcome to the forum, you've come to the right place! I take it you've seen the Cars For Sale section. Also worth looking at the Buying Guide so you know what to look out for when vewing. 2k doesn't sound like much for a VR, you'll be looking at a high miler for that money and it may not be in as good condition as some of the nicer examples. If you could afford to spend more it'd be worth it. Or you could consider going for a G60 as they are usually cheaper because of their age... but just as much fun! Or even a 1.8/2.0 16v you could get a lower mile nicer example for 2k than you would a VR... Good Luck! :)
