  1. Hmm.. I typed in 'thermo' in etka, for a 1992 passat and got various results. Here's a few pics, let me know if the bits you're looking for are on any of them :)

    Wheels

They do! I've seen 'em somewhere, but they're rare as hell
  3. Some very *ahem* 'special' corrado's on there! :shocked!: [web]http://www.corrado-database.nl/view_img ... 7&ext=.jpg[/web] [web]http://www.corrado-database.nl/view_img ... j&ext=.jpg[/web]
  4. Do what I do, use a 2nd car
  5. Very nice 8) How much did you drop it by? I've still got to get my ones fitted, but I'm worried about dropping it too much. Bascially there's loads of speed bumps near here, and I dont want to wreck my sump :(
  6. Excellent, cheers. Like I said, I'm a bit clueless when it comes to stuff like this
  7. Ah right Cheers for that :)
  8. So, front top mounts with coilovers - will they fit properly with std VW parts, or should I use an aftermarket front top mount? :? And thanks Steve, you were right about the coilover having the bumpstop built in :D
  9. Brake fluid changed last Sept. Did you change your ABS rotors when you did the 288mm conversion? I get the impression that if I dont change 'em I'll get the dreaded ABS light constantly on like several others on here :?
  10. Some scans for anyone interested :) http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corrad ... page1b.jpg http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corrad ... page2b.jpg http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corrad ... page3b.jpg http://www.golf.homechoice.co.uk/corrad ... page4b.jpg Old post about VR6 Turbo & Campaign corrado
  11. ** BUMP ** I've got to get my new coilovers fitted soon, so just want to make sure of a couple of things: Will standard VW VR6 front top mounts be ok with my new adjustable suspension, or do I have to get some other front top mounts? Also.. Standard VW rear bumpstops - are they ok to use? There seems to be varying opinions on how much to trim them by! :? Sorry if I sound like a newbie, I dont have a clue when it comes to these things
  12. They're really awful - looks and performance! When I break, it feels as though as they are slightly juddering. I had someone in the corrado a couple of weeks back (who used to work for VW in the mid 90's and knows corrado's inisde out) and he mentioned how they felt like the standard ones do when they knackered! Maybe it's a one off, because the reviews say they are supposed to be good I thought about 288's like yours, but it's just more convenient to stick normal 280's. Don't really want to have to change calipers, carriers, brake lines etc; it sounds like hard work
  13. I'm going to change my front brakes soon; previous owner decided on having these saw blades fitted.. Click   Apart from getting some *proper* discs, what else should be changed? Am I right in thinking its worth getting new ABS rotor cages at the same time? Cheers
  14. Couple of scans from an old mag: Page1 Page2
  15. Noticed this on the VR6OC Not exactly a huge bargain, but better than a smack in the face  http://www.vr6oc.com/forum_viewtopic.php?27.57104.0
  16. What parts would it be sensible to change if I get the clutch done on my VR6? I don't mind buying proper parts from VW, but are the GSF / ECP equivalant parts the same? Any know what the part number is for a VR6 clutch? Are there any other little bits and pieces worth doing while the clutch is off? Any particular plates, flywheel, seals, bearings etc need doing too? Thanks in advance
  17. They want to get Top Gear off the air  http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4432279.stm
  18. I cant figure out why corrados rust so badly around there It's practically the same as a MK2 golf wing indicator, and how many of those do you see rust? I cant remember seeing any! My '88 mk2 has zero rust around there, unlinke the corrado after I bought it..
  19. Coilovers finally arrived today.. Hope you lot got yours too!
  20. Mercedes sprinter van drivers, certainly
  21. Here's a few photos I just took of mine, to help you out :)
