I think they'd look right on the right car, but not on the Corrado.

CAAAAACHINNNNNG!!!! Here you go mate, just for confirmation on the size - viewtopic.php?f=23&t=74986&p=884081&hilit=top+mount+nuts#p884081

Possibly. Its the thread pitch that matters too. 1.25 sounds about right. Let me see if i can find the topics when i asked the same question.
-
Thats a generous score.. i thought it was an appauling film to be honest. A bitt OTT.
-
Have you tried physically unhooking the battery to reset it? Coolant temp is under measuring block in vagcom if i remember rightly. You have to do a scan first though.. i think.

Yeah you could hear that without the graphics. He was only using part throttle. Though the Ferrari team say Massa let Alonso passed on his own accord after hearing he was faster then him. Funny how he looked so annoyed after the race and the apology from Rob Smedley. The incident has been reported to the FIA, i hope they hand out some punishment.
-
I dont believe this - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsp ... 852918.stm What a load of ****! They should have had a 25 second penalty or something not a damn fine!!! Ok Ferrari didnt actually say the words "Let Alonso pass" BUT it was obvious to everyone that the message Rob Smedley gave Massa was instructing him to let Alonso pass, he even said "Sorry" to Massa after giving him the message. :bad-words: The good news - Lewis still leads the Championship :D with Button in second.
-
Had this same issue myself. I went to Lark speed and they were fcking useless. In the end i got some from a local DIY shop. If you search for 'Koni top mount nuts' or something like that and look for it as me as author, there should be a thread. If you have no luck, let me know i can get some for you and post them on.
-
I agree, they didnt say "Let Alonso through" but they may as well have done. Feel sorry for Massa tbh. I hope the stewards have something to say about it.
-
You have to slide it towards the passenger wing where the height of the gap is greater.
-
 no wonder it was predictable!
-
Borrowed True Romance from a guy at work. Quite enjoyed it really. Patricia Arquette :norty: 8/10
-
What chip you getting Hasan?
-
Certainly a good idea, otherwise it would be smashing windows time! Interested to see what it looks like once you have it painted Waynos :D
-
Bloody hell, why does everything need to come out? Not sure you HAVE to take seats out but taking the dash will give you room for manouver. Apparently its possible to do with the dash in, but its not recommened.
-
He just climbs in & out the windows  No, I think he's got a solenoid fitted. Like the ones fitted to open the boot in newer cars  That is cool 8) but what if it breaks or something? Boot?
-
Would be interested to see what the LEDs look like.
-
i've fitted a sports cat and a 6 branch. Neither really give much gain, if any. The only thing i did notice was it was had a slightly better throttle response. Other then that you wont notice it. The BMC also gives minimal gain, but the noice THE NOISE :D :D :D  Oh and dont wrap the standard manifold and down pipe as it will just crack. Its made of iron so it does well to keep the heat inside anyway.
-
and put the heater on hot and turn the fan on full, when filling with coolant.
-
Good call on the poll!!! :D I think it would have been interesting for people to vote for what their cars were before any conversions... just interested to see what was the most popular model. when ever someone quotes the number of 8Vs made, every time it makes me feel guilty about writting mine off :( (was my first rado too)
-
This maybe a daft querstion, but how do you open the door? :D
-
yup given that a go. :-( Im only wanting to change the damn sender  going to see if i can just take the sender off with the pump in place, its clipped on at the bottom so will see if i can get the clips to release. As for the comments - i expect nothing less from you Tom!
-
Had another look mate and still cant get the bugger out! I can tilt the pump ever so slightly, which would suggest that side is free, but the opposite side is still being held. May have to get it into the garage and let him sort it. Even then he may not be able to get it out.
