that probably describes 95% of insurers.

which take ages to wind up or down the foot long threaded bar!

sorry to hear that mate. Just another thing that gripes me about insurance companies, you pay for them and when you need them they dont do their job properly - and thats the good ones. Hope it all gets sorted for you. Nit heard of markerstudy tbh, but will be avoiding them at all costs. i mean what kind of a company actually says they're crap and admit other companies are better  Cowboys.

Shiny Shiny owen 8) Today, i foolishly whacked a kerb with the rear wheel, i hit it quite hard, but no damage thankfully - mark on the tyre. I was mad with myself  I was actually expecting to see a bent wheel and burst tyre. THANKFULLY, it was my old set of wheels not the new set pheeew. -
VR6 transplant Help wanted....need to get on the road.

Doesnt sound like the car is actually over heating then - this shouldnt affect the MOT at all. Change the yellow temp sensor (which the new one will be black). Id def change the yellow sender first. -
Look on Ebay P0l1wrath, you can get ODB2 to 1 adaptors from there. Cheap. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2X2-Adapter-Cable-OLDER-VW-AUDI-OLD-VAG-OBD2-OBDII-2-plus-2-OBD-/300690298924?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item460289d82c

Just re-read your original post. How low is it? Too low can have adverse affects.

i'll say 2280

you need to get a full geometry setup, tracking alone isnt enough. the geometry setup will adjust the camber, caster as well as the toe in/out

Ah really, didnt realise the drop links or ball joints gave these symptoms. I looked at the drop links a weekend or so ago and thought they looked worn. Also getting a knocking when turning some times. Car will be coming off the road soon so will be getting things sorted. Also, how do i change the ARB bushes do i have to take the plates that hold the back of the subframe to the car off, the plate the ARB runs through? -

Can anyone advise me on this. Starting to think my KW Coilovers are past is and need replacing - im not happy about the prospect of having to replace them Still getting the slight bouncy juddering feeling under my feet. Car is awful to drive over a bumpy surface. Im not getting any clocking or anything. The front end just feels like its moving up and down very slightly and seems worse on some surfaces to others. The coilovers have only been on the car about 3 years and done maybe around 30k miles. Can KW provide the shock seperately? -
 For me definately TT wiper upgrade along with the headlight looms. Then suspension, but thats more to get rid of the 4x4 look, its not that the standard suspension is bad.

Which make is it, Piersburg or Bosch?

Anyone heard of a KW V1s strut siezing? - i mean the actual up and down movement of the strut not the spring collar. The issue described previous in this thread, where i get a slightly feeling of a juddering under my feet, not through the steering wheel. Ive spoken to my mechanic who suggests it could be one of the struts that have siezed. Seems worse going down the motorway over the concrete sections of the road. -

A large flat head screw driver will do the job too -
Is this the passenger side one, looks it with the screw adjuster on it. I got some of the drivers side ones made not long ago. Werent as well made as that, but it did the job and only got £5 posted each. happy to get more made if needed. The quality of the ones in the link look superb, but $45 - ouch.

Maybe worth buying a signal booster box too, just fits inline with the ariel and tv

I would imagine the only attention you will get from wearing it as cologne is from butch mechanics
