  1. Thanks for that, very good to get the "know how" :salute: it would be great to get a vid for myself and everybody else on the CF to see :D . It was not miles out just i could see the lines were not right...and as its me i had to make sure it was spot on
  2. thats a good quote, the lower part of that slam pannel is an easy repair.
  3. not a stupid question and yes they are pretty much the same.
  4. looking at that again im not sure it is the pad as the pad is flat and that has a groove at one end.....still no harm done.
  5. I would not recommended this if you are not handy with fabrication,it takes allot of time, and the shaped metal is a hammer and dolly set, commonly used in bodyshops, its a cheap set as im doing it once only!!
  6. you cant see light through them even with no paint but sorry what is 45? Its going to get its chance, plenty have them on with no issues.....yet
  7. it looks like part of the top tensioner pad,the two holes are the rivets that hold it on....
  8. sorry but its painted but i know its made by these http://www.performance-trim.com/product ... gory_id=14 its the carbon top with fibre glass frame. This is starting to worry me abit as my car will go over 110mph quickly :?
  9. the bonnet fitted just fine but the pins need more adjustment and most are sold on the basis of plug and play with no mods. Dont want bonnet pins/latches sticking out the front of the bonnet. thanks for your input.
  10. Thanks kip,the oil cooler and intercooler are cooled with the large opening in the front bumper
  11. well done some more, car is ready for bodyshop now but wether has been poop to move it :bad-words: During my last update ive finished the passanger rear arch which needed allot of work due to previous damage, all sorted now, striped the passanger sill of underseal, bought a carbon bonnet that needed some work to bring back up to standard and also weleded up any unessary holes in the slam pannel which took ages to do but will be worth it once in paint :D Randoms. next update from the bodyshop
  12. yea they can be adjusted up down left & right etc as most bonnets to slam pannels will differ some what,i fitted the carbon bonnet as is and the gaps were all over the place as it was guided in by the pins which are fixed...its all sorted now but just wondered if all the carbon bonnets fitted perfect first time?
  13. Reason i ask is that i bought a bonnet and found the bonnet pin holes are fixed,so i ended drilling a large hole at the rear of the pins on the underside to remove the captive nut and slotting the hole and using the plate from the standard bonnet to make it adjustable.......lot of hassle for a bolt on bonnet!? :?
  14. very nice! is it for sale?
  15. As above,i would like to know if the two bonnet pins on your bonnets are adjustable of fixed? Thanks
  16. You will see the same numbers with dizzy or coilpack, there both obd1,with cams, inlet manifold etc you will see 200hp also there are plenty on here with standard motors pushing more than 200hp. Have you had your car Rolling roaded?
  17. try swaping your wheels over as it sounds like tyre noise,if no better possible wheel bearing.
  18. That afr gauge is slow to respond, what make is it?
  19. there easy to remove, erwin stud/bolt removers will have them out in a jiff.
  20. yea, anymore than a few days and its flat, and in winter with all the load on its allot worse,so glad i went back to standard battery.
  21. cool! how are you using the throttle body on the supercharger? does it shut at x boost pressure and how is it controled? Awsome stuf! :notworthy:
  22. hmmm...nice 8) and even better once you have the car back on the road!
  23. ditto on the crank sensor or poor conection is more the case,it shows no fault codes and when the motor cranks and does get no signal it has no spark or fuel.
