Sorry - No! The ecu had standard OE maps prior to cam change. 192 was the found output prior to mods. The ecu maps were optimised following SP263 cam installation to make best use of the new flow regime.
-
For the sake of clarity : VAG-hag's base line of 192 bhp was for a completely boggo OE setup [inc mapping] and the results previously reported followed cam & follower only change. The 221bhp figure resulted from filterless open inlet.

They also work well with St1 V9 & Schrick : N426 YNN Power 080517.jpg[/attachment:3kdv8edz] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfN426 YNN-Torque 080517.jpg[/attachment:3kdv8edz]

Goes without saying, which is why I didn't say it  What you tryin to say Kev?

I tried some aero blades which fitted straight on the standard arms, from local dealer. The standard arms/springs just weren't strong enough to hold a 100% contact with the screen - approx 70% drvivers & 50% passenger side. [to be fair to the dealer - he gave me full refund!] It's deffo the arms that cause the prob - I'll be going for the full TT setup.

Here's mine!

And don't forget that a Storm is faster cos its a Storm. Its probably actually a 10th slower due to the leather! I always thought the Connolly hide was finer, ergo lighter, therefore faster? [Like the meerkat (dotcom)! ]

Absolutely - just why I like mine! [though it has had the scratchers at it] Suspension's a bit soggy but the brakes are the best OEM kit I've ever had. A downside is that it's 200kg heavier than the C. Nice cruiser though - not quite as good as a 330Ci, but a lot cheaper! Current prob is Climatronic failure - defaults to full blast on screen at max temp! Doesn't show external temp on dash readout - sensor kaput? Where on earth is the sensor?

Hey Kev I recall you had some Potenza 050A's on - what do you think of them?
-
would it not strangle the airflow into the charger or would it suck it in extra quick? i just ask it cos our engines are nearly twice the size for the smaller one and fi too... Hi Jim My K&N feeds 83mm ID silicone - see attached pre-fit assembly:

Perhaps Natalie & Susan were after something else of yours? -
Hi Kip VAG-hag & I use a really thorough and friendly independent VW specialist in Carlton, twixt Barnsley & Royston, E&S Swift, 01226 724623, for stuff we don't have tools or skills for. Very reasonable cf stealers.

Hey Karl Didn't you spot a very buyable A3 with 3.2 motor recently?
-
How would we go about getting him back to take say Kev's C round the TG track?? How about it Kev?
-
Best of luck with the business! You deserve every success for giving it a go. BTW - did you clear the abbreviated business name with Bill Gates' copyright lawyers first?
-
That's a bit OTT innit? Remind me to stay well clear of your car!

Would be nice wi' the Audi 3.0 supercharger plant + Haldex - for starters!
-
It is a nice colour - one of my favourites. :) By-eck though - the passenger seat's seen some action compared with the driver's!
-
Ah! :ignore: How does it guesstimate the fuel then? Surely not just from the lambda?
-
Nah! The little tinker witholds his No! You prob know his e-address: dubpower sales"
-
It's a bugger innit! Have you tried disconnecting MAF from cold? 99% of any running probs I've had associate with the MAF. Found recently the best stuff for cleaning the flow sensor is circuit board solvent cleaner.
-
Hi Jim My immediate thought was OMG you've hydraulicked it! Unlikely with fairly high air intake - very common with Vauxhal combi vans though! I've found over-exuberant hosing can get water into filter - and to MAF, causing much mis-fire. Though much more likely with my MAF - located in O/S bumper space.

was just going to say that!!! Is it for sale then?? :D Mine certainly isn't for sale! [sorry son!] :nono: The schrick, SP263's and stg 1 V9 Vortech work well together on mine - even Vince was gob-smacked at the result - see bhp graph below [before & after 263's].
