    Impressive plumbing - and I thought the inlet good too, despite the VW origins - took some welding skills. The fuel rail looks standardish too - but how can it fuel properly at that size and with all that heat about? Unless it's running v high pressure?

    Even my mother would say that neck is clean! And it looks in very good nick. :D Must do mine, though did clean from the other side during a wheel-off & clean session last week.

    Hi KUR2Y Couple of queries before I dive in : Isn't there advantage in having a 4 relay loom, as you'ld lose all dipped lights if that relay goes down? Also, do you use the new-fangled solid state relays, which should be more weather resistant? Would appreciate your feedback.

    Hey Kev Why the drop from 12 to 8 psi with ic? Was it just inefficient plumbing, or a result of charge contraction? Did you measure the 12psi @ the blower outlet? :scratch: Phil

    It is possible by taking it below the O/S inner wing flange, below radiator, behind the bumper, which is the route taken by many an intercooler installation.

    IIRC Lizard used a larger diameter PWR than that and in the same location.

    VAG-hag had a set - very good stiction in the dry and v good value.
