Hay it was the horn. Cheers to Supercharged and Flusted. Its the loom from my old smashed panel..I didn't think it was the horn loom cos the horns on my new panel have different connections. I just dug out my horns n yes the loom does fit. Current horns have single spade connections covered with round rubber boots. Al a load of my mind... Pity really ya could have sent me the left half of ya sac in a tupperware box  So thats that cheers folks Now to find out why my rad fan has all of a sudden died!!! More fun tomorrow :D
-
Areet Flusted. Hows the knee? Ok I shall pull the headlamps tomoz. N have a look around. I can't seem to remember conecting two big plugs???  Maybe I should stop taking Acid whilst on car repairs  Its started to rain so jacked it in today. Anybody got any tips for bonett alignment :?: What a mare mindyou the car needs paint so prob leave that for the bodyshop. Cheers
-
Yellow loom is conected. So don't know. Knowing my luck its prob of my mothers Clio  Just sitting in a pile of VW stuff
-
As a note the only things not working are the rad fan? It worked after the crash. It wont even run if I short it however the main plug is fitted and all the looms by the bat are connected. Indicators work fine , spots not working one with no bulb so don't know if they run or not ie do both have to be with good bulbs. Horns n wipers work. Car starts n runs fine.
-
No thats working..However Noel maybe your dead on. Maybe I removed the loom from my panel n had no need to refit to the new??? However the horn connectord are single round unless they spill off into this loom?? Upon looking the it seems not to be for the horn Cheers
-
As it sez. Help required for an embarasing moment... Where does this loom go  It must be from the front end as I have just finished rebuilding it... I just can't remember where this goes. It has been a month or two since I dismantled the car. I can't find any loose plugs???? Cheers

1991 on a J plate does not need to have a CAT. Best way to pass emissions is dump a bottle of stop smoke stuff in your tank. Will clean it up for the test.
-
Yep it does happen. Click here Your besy bet is to have a small torch in ya mouth and slide under the fron t of the car. Look up and find the bonett pin springs.. 'See the link' once found long screw driver pop em and bonett will open. Or get a mate to pull and press on the stuck side as you pull the leaver sometimes it works.
-
Sorry mate what do you want? The long tube on the picture is if you are keeping the water heat exchanger I think. I am not I've removed all that gubbins n fitted Mk2 pipes n will be fitting the mocal plate. Exploded view of the filter head below. I have ordered part 15 'A Threaded union'
-
Sorry G man I didn't mean anything by the 'no it's not line'. Mocal never mentioned the threaded unuion would be needed. i understand now and have just got 1 from VW. Pick it up tomorrow. I've had three of these tubes n all seemed wrong. I just expected it to spin in and not require anything else. Again apologies..

EEEEK  Bet he loved that. So if I wanted my 60 to have that look do I need to but both the lip spoiler and the splitter? two seperate items are listed on edworthys
-
What do you actually get when you but a GTS front 'Lip' spoiler do you get what is at the bottom of the bumper? Does it replace the standard item?. i ask as on Click here There is a lip spoiler and a splitter? i want what is on the shot.
-
Flusted You are CORRECT Sorry  just checked my old post Clicky Sorrrrreeeeyy
-
Hi Supercharged (nice avatar  ) Yes I am removing the water based heat exchanger. So this is the correct tube I just need what was still attached to my old G60 when it ws taken by the insurance :!: That had the Mk1 filter head on it with the oil cooler pipes. I need the tube from one of those or from one with a standard filter head either way it not matter? Below is what was on my old car. How can Mocal sell this stuff and have no tech knowledge. As i said i've had 3 tubes now!!! I have the waterpipes from a K plate Scirroco GT2 in the yard. So I just need this damn tube n all will be well. Doing my head in. they are nice enough on the phone no hastle at all but half of em who ya need to speak with don't roll in till 11:30!! I need a job there. Cheers buddy
-
Err after getting home at a real hr this evening...ts not the right one!! See photo. along side is the V6 tube plus new new 1. I need a male thread on each end? Don't I? this has female fitment. Anybody know what the part is I need? Please Cheers

The lower nipple. If you have no carbon canister then block of the upper nipple. halfrauds sell 1 m of perfect 3mm bore Diesel over run hose, it comes with a few rubber blanks to close of un-needed Diesel injector outlets.

Yep that looks a big job doing the Wiki never mind the chains n clutch  I was always pleased that my Saabs never needed their chains doing. Never fancied that job, worn tensioners and oh now the chain has dropped to the bottom of the case...  I think an electric 'How to' would be good. Very simple to make interactive a sought of How you can cut relays into circuits etc. mechanicals I'm wicked at but things that spark or need a switch err no.

I like the yellow protection film on that black C. Is the film Rd legal? Looks well smart.
-
Its easy if you have done it before.. See here 2nd time I've used this tonight weird.. Its a writeup I did for a Saab turbo transmission removal. Although not a corrado it will give ya some ideas on how big the job may be for ya. I've done it twice on a Corrado both times G60. Was a bit easier than the Saab. Well it was till I fited the box tightened up the bolts and sat back with a cig and wondered why my new release bering was sitting next to my old 1 by my cup of T  Some choice language at that point in the day
-
Oh really ,thats great. Chhers the man of G. I only got in at 9 tonight so not had chance to spin it on. Super car rebuild continues at the wekend..
