Hi. As the multimedia and inferface designer I am it would be a great idea. Alot of work though. Well written how to are just as good. May be nice to do some video and vector animation and flash work. here is a link to a gearbox removal job on a 1994/95 Saab 900 turbo that I wrote after documenting the whole job. Saab transmission removal I realise its a big job but it may give you some idea of the detail required.

You can ger 'wet' & 'dry' systens. I have a wet system waiting to go on my new 60. It was fitted to my previous 60. The 2nd line blends in the plenum via a fogger nozzle. Wet systems are aparentley better than dry as it stops the engine running leane. Don't koe nowt about stand alone fuel systems though

Evening all. Help if ya can. on my previous g60 I had a MK1 GTI filterhead with the oil outlets plumbed into a 14 row oil cooler. As the new but recentley damaged 60 has no front end I bought a Mocal take-off plate with a built in stat. All was OK untill I fitted it they sent me a filter tube for a VR6 that was last week. Since then I have had another tube sent me free of charge. Today the 3rd arrived and I think its wrong . Does anybody know what it is I need. The car is a 1991 G60.. this is what arrived today?

Whats your car? 16v, vr6, g60? my 91 g60 has no relays for the rad fan. Just orks on a electrical feed to the temp switch located in the rad. Not that it works had to wire the fan to a dash ounted switch. I replaced the sensor 3 times, Same in my old g60 must be a failure somewhere but I could never find it. Some later cars have a couple of relays mounted near the water expansion tank. The only relay you may have will be for the engine off 'run on' fan control. Cools the engine bay when still hot. Again depends on what model ya have.

how to stop interior going mouldy whilst not being used...
2_Door_fun replied to adamukcorrado's topic in Interior
Go to woolies n get a moisture trap. As others have said a tub full of stuff. My car has one in and its bone dry. -
Oh so they no good for my G60 as it has no ABS. So what do us owners do for a brake upgrade? Do we have to switch to 5 stud hubs and VR6 calipers?
-
Hi. Does the car have lowered or new suspension? If so the lower bolts on the rears should only be tightened when the full weight of the car (infact any car) is sitting on the floor. So the lower bolts may well jsut need loosening off a touch. Then jack up the rear and lower it to the floor. The shockers naturally will find the correct sitting point and sit there. Now just tighten up the bolt...Jobs a good en. Have fun in the C and on the forum. :-P

So as I went all the way to the Isle of White last Friday to pick up Yellow G60 parts for me Yellow G60 from Flusted and Co. I am hoping to be rolling the Rds again soon. I have a payout from the insurance and wish to put some cash into the car. It will be going for paint n stuff next week. All the car park dinks n stuff removed plus the said new parts brought into match the rest of the car. So are the Girling calipers the S2's that are sometimes found on Ebay. Does anybody use these ? How is the breaking? My car goes quick enough I'd like it to stop just as quick. Do they fit standard disc size etc.

The search is always a good place to start. Heater and box Riley and I have had good fun with this

Mine failed last year. See here Stainless hoses and no rubber bits.Ii used a length or soft silicone hose. Sliced it length ways Zip tied that to the line where it curved over then Zip tied over the soft rubber to my new struts.. Passed no prob. They are really picky now. nightmare.

Take out the plugs. Spray a rack load of WD40 down the bores. Leave for an hr ot 2 then turn engine by hand. get a socket n wrench on the lower pulley and crank away. Change the fuel, oil etc as others have said n Check all the tyres etc. It should fire then leave it to warm up. Drop the oil use some flushing oil. Run that then drain and refill with new oil and new filter. That is def a fun day in my book. have fun.

Whats it like to own n drive a G60? Ah to slip between the thigh's of an arabian princess and err  I love it I love Corrado's people just look at em on the high St. My yellow 60 people are just glued to it. Thats the buzz they may not be quick as to a Scooby unless major play has taken place but there is no substitute for style n cool. Money just can't buy that in another car. 8)
