  1. I fancy a badge on the back that just says 'T I T' or 'T W A T' :) . If you're close enough to read it.... :)
  2. I can't read it - what does it say dude?
  3. I think it's koooeennnnnnnnnnnniiiggggggggggsssssssssssssseeggggggggg mate :)
  4. Ooh I like it Alex :) Very nice. I tried one with 18 inch S6 (I think) wheels which looked ace too. Show me the money shot then!!! Show me the snail dude :)
  5. I reckon they're the way to go. Afterall that's what they use on Alfa conversions :) (and that other foreign up-start company with that lame old CCR thing)
  6. AND if you're a true petrol head, wheelspin is LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of fun Kev :) I've got a wheelspin ON/OFF button in the Alfa ;)
  7. Oh get with the times mate. Don't tell me, prefabricated factory-built houses are sh*t too? Things change. Historical views/reputations are hard to change. But I reckon you'll find modern fiats are built as good as most other modern cars.
  8. I like the french way. If you're in the outside lane and someone is coming up faster behind you, get out the way as soon and as quickly as possible to let em past. Then pull out again. it's simple and it works. In france. Not sure it would work in england though as we are so defensive and jealous on the roads. I swear the average uk driver actually tries to f*ck up everyone else's journey. It's in our nature. So I reckon the french way, with a little bit of the german hierachy system thrown in for good measure :) Incidentally, the other week on the way back from Cornwall with the kids in the Alfa, i was avin it up the A30 'at the speed limit' when i noticed we were coming up behind a lovely new Ferrari F430 a couple of hundred yards ahead. He saw me in the mirror and instantly pulled into the inside lane to let me fly past! :) :) :) He even had a look at the GTA as we went past :)
  9. You got that Enzo TB yet mate? ;)
  10. Which in turn is a rebodied panda. Fiat panda, not the bear like animal that eats bamboo.
  11. I agree mate. I reckon the new fiat 500 has basically the same small, cheeky, fun, italian character of the original. I'm not sure the original mini was an over-styled estate agents gay-mobile when it originally came out? More like an engineering/packaging marvel, albeit cool and trendy for a while. So I feel that the mini is MORE of a blatant marketing exploitation of the original. I wouldn't even sit in a mini let alone be seen driving one. I'd own the fiat though. In black. Lowered. A bit :)
  12. Nice one. I knew Steve would be quick to get in there with sexuality jibes.. I think thats all he has in his somewhat limited arsenal ;) At least Eric could put forward a well reasoned opinion on it :) As you say - its cool. They've modernised it, not overbloated it, made it look stylish. I just hope it doesn't end up like the Mini.. there are just too many of the damn things! I read that the proportions are pretty darn close to the original, but 30% bigger. It rocks :)
  13. Strangely I agree with you mate :) I think it's cool as fek! There's going to be an Arbarth version too :)
  14. Judging by how hard it was to get mine out, i'd say it would be a hell of a job to retro-fit. Good luck though :)
  15. I gotta be honest, I don't really want an audi V8 mate. I hate to say it on a dub forum, but I prefer Alfa engines to VAG engines (V6 variety anyway).
  16. 12 months would be the minimum. Changing oil etc more regularly would be better still.
  17. And clearly, that's exactly who they've aimed it at. It's no longer a racer for the road in any way whatsoever. A great shame. The E30 M3 is definately the best handling car I've driven.
  18. I'm not a purist at all to be honest mate. I like anything good. Dubs and alfas for me :) Diesel you say? Evil man :)
  19. You mean yu're going to pull it to bits already??? No!!!! I saw an alfa 3.0 litre V6 (same as mine but not bored as much) for 150 quid!!! :) And in theory i've still got most of a corrado shell. Been thinking about doing welding evening classes too :)
  20. Fair play mate. My conscience is clear anyway - it only becomes not so if i break MY moral code, not anyone else's! :)
  21. My morals are adaptable depending on the circumsatnces - it's rather common among humans i think you'll find.
  22. So as consumers we'd be upset if the shop stiffed us (ie sent us too little of a certain item) and would come on here to bitch about their crap service and demand the right quantity / items. When the boot is on the other foot, its their cock up and you should take advantage of their mistake? Come on.. do the moral thing. They should cover any and ALL costs to recover the item, but at least give them the chance. Exactly. take advantage of their mistake. He asked for opinions. That's mine. We are stiffed and robbed and ripped-off as a matter of course in everyday life, be it legal or not. So take a little back I say. If it was an individual rather than a business it would be different. Hey, my morals are a little 'looser' than some - that's what makes the world go round. I would take the extra item every time :)
