  1. How long are the door seals? If it's enough for 2 doors I'll take them please. I'm at wedding this weekend, so will sort payment out on Monday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Got me deep sockets yesterday, and managed to get the striker pin off. Fitted the new pin but just not sure about the quality of the new ones compared to the original old ones. Going to see if I can source some new ones from the dealers.
  3. Thanks guys, deep 6 sided sockets ordered. Yeah Jon,I already marked it up before I tried to remove it but then got stuck.:-)
  4. Do you mean a deep socket?
  5. Bought some new striker pins, as the old ones are looking a bit tired. Tried getting them off the drivers side one off and it's not budging. Using a 15mm spanner it feels like it's going to slip. Anyone got any suggestions for removing. They not left hand threaded are they? Also the new pins I bought from eBay are Febi ones, which fit a 14mm spanner. Is that correct to the people that have replaced them before.
  6. Seems better after the update of the app.

  9. Nice tip there Stuart, just googled some videos on how to use the tool and it looks simple enough.
  10. Second car Patience Learning to walk away when things are not going your way Good internet surfing skills for sourcing all those illusive parts
  11. Excellent, cant wait to get me hands on these.
  12. Are you able to provide the glass panel on there own?
  13. Could you put a socket on the crank pulley bolt, then hold that down against something. Then try and loosen the hey key/socket for the PAS pulley. Not done my self before, so it's a suggestion
  14. I'm selling mine, if your interested. It's unused, and is in the original packaging it came in.
  15. Just had my G60 MOT'd recently, which has passed with no advisories. But they did comment that the braking efficiency was low, and has just passed. I got the same comment last year at a different garage that carried out the MOT test. Not really thought much about it before, and just put it down to been an old car with old technology braking system. But after driving my new daily the brakes on the Corrado do feel poor in comparison. So wanted to know, if others could post up there brake efficiency results. Just to find out if there is really an issue with braking system. My results bellow Limit My Result 50% 56% Service brake (i.e. foot brake) 16% 18% Parking brake
  16. The wheels suit it really well, and the diamond cutting on the speed lines. Just adds that something more special to them.
  17. Got the annual MOT done, passed with no advisories.
  18. Mine always on the CTek charger throughout winter. Great price of kit, it even revitalised the polo natter when that was playing up.
  19. Carried out an oil and filter change, and MOT'd. Passed with no advisory, plus lots of nice comments from the garage and customers on its condition.
  20. Looking at the difference between mono tube and twin tube shock absorbers, its seems the mono tubes are the ones to go for. But the price for the mono tube is over what I'm prepared to pay for coilovers. So my second option is maybe to go for a shock and spring setup. The yellow Koni and H&R spring kits look reasonably priced, with a modest drop of around 30/40mm. Chris, I might be calling on your help in fitting which ever suspension setup I go for. If that's okay with you :-)
  21. I might take you up on that Stuart, seen the post to the KW but i would need to add another £165 for those. Which I could use for adding new suspension bushes all round.
  22. Seen these coilovers on eBay, price wise they don't look to bad to me. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/H-R-TWIN-TUBE-COILOVER-SUSPENSION-CHASSIS-VW-CORRADO-53I-35865-2-/141465468128?fits=Model%3ACorrado&hash=item20efffbce0:g:ljMAAOSwEK9T~0YH Just wanted to know what others think of them? They are for my 92 G60, which is still on the normal ride height and I think its about time the wheel arches got filed in a bit. Its really for the look that I am going, but I also want it to be comfortable to cruise around in. So want to try and keep the OEM look, but just better stanced then it is at the moment. Hence why I'm thinking coilovers, as I can set the height up as i want it. If anyone can recommend something in else in a similar price range would be appreciated
  23. This post might be better in this one, http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?94027-Best-panel-filter
