**mods move this as you wish** im after a good qulity battery for the G60, as ive got a crappy cheap one in there at the moment, and is knackered, setting the alarm off too. does anyone know a good battery for a G60 (soon to be 16vg60) and any links where i can buy one from?? dont want to spend too much money (£150ish max) cheers

yup, i did the same, but balls up the DDI film as well (went all bubbley when i put it back on) ordered some more film from DDI about october last year and never turned up! just left them standard now. -

dodgy alarm system ? i had this a few days ago. The immobiliser cut in while i was driving and switched the car off! wasnt a good feeling, i put it down to me not using the car much and the battery not having enough power in it, hasnt happenned since, maybe you should check the battery output. failing that maybe the fuel?

oh dear, mind you, we all know that any car can be driven by a Pr*ck like a Pr*ck, so he might be right. but saying that it is a shed isnt right. for example, i saw a yellow saxo yesterday was a bit barry boy'd up, didnt know it was running a hayabusa bike engine in the boot!! should have seen the thing go!!

plenty of them in bodyshop bins around the country i'd imagine!! i'd pay you not to stick something like that on a corrado!! but if you want to do it, i reckon you would be better off looking for german bodykits, as they do a wider range from what ive seen. failing that i think venom motorsport do some....

ive got the same problem on my g60, never gets past the top of the solid white bit on the gauge. thermostat is cutting in and have changed black and blue sensors. i put it down to a dodgy gauge so fitted a replacement out of a spare set of clocks, but still doesnt work.

surely if he hit you then its his fault and he will have to pay ? doesnt look too bad really, just a few replacement panels and bits and pieces. how could he not spot you in a bright yellow car?? makes you wonder where people are looking more of the time!

i saw one of these advertised somewhere, and heard they only work for newer cars, think they were only for 98 onwards or something ? maybe due to how the speed sensor works ?

ive bought a set for my G60 corrado (H+R ones) but havent fitted them yet, ive also got a set still in the back seat for the Vr6 golf waiting to be fitted. was told by Darren at G-werks these were a really good mod.

yeah flux and HIC are sister companies, although H.I.C quoted me an extra £400 over what flux did on the s/c VR6??!! so i tried brentacre who were cheaper than all of them!! but the corrado is still insured with flux, so hopefully they will be good. But hopefully ill never have to find out....

i still say the ones in the first pic, due to the fact a corrado has a lot of curves in it, and i think the wheels should mimic that.whereas the KT1s are just straight forward angled 5 spokes.

i used to have silver roses on mine, similar to the D90's just a bit more rare, think they look a lot better than D90's too...heres some pics

i'd say No.1. the keskins look good on a Mk2 golf but dont seem to suit the corrado IMO. take off the side bumpstips and it will look really cool!! 8)

dont know whats safer letting my missus drive one of the cars while i drive the other or letting you look after them. my missus can look quite mean sometimes....

right, i kid you not but a ford Ka has just parked between my golf and corrado and left about 8 inch of room between the drivers door and my corrado passenger door. WHAT IS IT WITH PEOPLE THEY THINK THEY HAVE A F&CKING BUS OR SOMETHING!!!!!!!! :bad-words:

im having a special intercooler made up anyway that comes straight out of my BBM charger into the FMIC with minimal pipework (propably 6inches, if that?) then straight out of the IC onto the throttle body agin with minimal pipework (4 inches?) mind you this will be on my 16vG60 and not an 8v.

i think they'd rather come along with a big stick of dynamite and blow the speedbump up than pay for a new bumper!! **brainwave--invite a load of people from the zonda owners club over to your house for a BBQ, think you could bankrupt the council in an hour!! either that or you will end up paying stupid amounts of council tax!!**

yeah i said that to my missus as well, if you own a corrado and people know its a corrado, they also know they didnt make any slow ones (bar the 2.0 8v) and so leave you alone/show respect whereas if you drive a golf it could be any engine inside it, mine is completly debadged so it could be a 1.4 under the bonnet (not much respect) but as it happens has a 2.8 supercharged VR6 (big respect) but nobody is any the wiser.

strange thing is i dont. i go to bed at 11pm wake up at 3am and go to work at 4am, taking one of the cars with me, while my missus watches the other car until i finish work at 9am and get back home so she can go to work at 9.30am. leaving me to watch the car until 11pm. which means the cars are only left alone for 4 hours each day. :silly:
