ive never got out of my seat so quickly....i heard a car pull into the carpark and saw it start reversing in between my two cars, looked like it was going to park up, think she saw me and has p*ssed off round the corner in her sh*tty renault soft top piece of cr*p!!

yeah, i thought about that angle too, but then the fact that people think ooo theres a corrado what a fantasic car etc, could be down to programs such as top gear which give the car a quick boost up the 'cool scale' but after a while gets forgotten again. and turns into another 11+year old VW. whereas the golf gti brand has been going since 1970 something?? and everyone knows them.

well, as ive just come back from giving the corrado a wash, i thought id park it elsewhere so ive got some space to get out...how about this?

how strange, i was having the exact conversation with my missus when we took the corrado out for a drive yesterday, and i was explaining the corrado is a much more rare/sporty car and gets noticed more than my golf VR6 (mk3). Usually i get at least 2 or 3 people a week come up to me and say something like 'you dont see many of them anymore' or 'that ones in good condition' etc. But recently morer people have been remarking on the golf instead of the corrado? do you think that the corrado has past its phase of being a so called timeless classic and the mk3 golfs have become the new mk1s? apart from the fact that mk1s had shoddy brakes whereas mk3 have shoddy suspension??!!??

its a twin exit one if i remember correctly?? comes out each side of the rear bumper audi RS6 style. a nice side exit exhaust would look good, go well with the Mad Max bonnet scoop!!

wouldnt you be better off running a intercooler ? i considered running a chargecooler but was advised against it due to extra cost/plumbing/weight etc. surely you'd be better off running a FMIC and methanol injection?

i always want a quiet exhaust, but ok if it needs to be loud because it cant be quiet then fair enough, my corrado exhaust is kind of loud, but i put that down to a hole somewhere and the 4 branch manifold.

i take it the supercharger is that massive great thing on the top?? if it was any bigger you'd need to cut a hole in the bonnet Mad Max style!! :lol: so i see the engine is a 'proper' V6 then not much like the old VR6s then. looks smart...could get the charger and a few other bits polished up/chomed etc would look really cool!!

especially as most of the other people using the carpark are 4x4 driving mums who are too lazy to walk more than 10 feet to the supermarket entrance, so you should have 90% of the carpark to yourself!!

extra bits of plastic on the outside, i.e spoilers eyebrows etc. angel eye headlights (suely you bought a corrado for its good looking front-why would you want to change it ?) loud exhausts, why ? neons. blue headlights/sidelights/people that think its 'cool' to drive around with their foglights on all the time. leather effect/recaro stylee seat covers--ive seen them in halfords they say racer or something on, why??

i suppose that is because they have more space under the bonnet then ? **sorry its a bit off topic just interested in the science behind it!

obviously the guy with the escort had a similar thought, so he took half of my parking space too!! he's going to be needing the extra space on his side though, so he can can climb out of his new wheelchair straight into his car :mad:

why did they do that ? why didnt they use a 24v one ? just seems a bit odd they would only do it for a passat?

yeah its north american, i downloaded it ages ago off an american website, and it was clearly for the american market, not for the UK. its an american car!! side markers, different body, its even set in the cowboy country, (i take it they go around on horses shouting 'yee-haw' and firing their 'six-shooters' all day long, right ? :lol:

hopefully they are lying in a bush somewhere with blood dripping out of them, getting eaten by a fox/hedgehog/other woodland creatures, thinking they should have chose another car. hehe

i know how you feel!! i cant stop driving my s/c VR6. the sound is just soooo nice, and it just pulls and pulls. did 140 yesterday (private road of course) and didnt even realise, power on it is just amazing! one thing im curious about is why its got 30valves whereas golf/bora etc came with 24 didnt they ?

get a replacemnet G60 engine in it, sell it and buy a vr6 if thats the engine you want. or why dont you get your engine rebuilt and tuned and keep that?? or if you cant decide whether you want a g60 or Vr6...buy both!!

yup, i hate that too. this is how my cars at looking at this very moment (sorry they are a bit dirty) but look at the shameful parking of the red escort. well over next to my corrado. worst thing is he usually has a passenger with him, and i havent moved the corrado in days. so theres probably a big dent in my door now.....the air was blue when i saw that yesterday, F*cking cnut!!

i was considering looking at this, only thing that put me off was the mileage, it does look really nice, and i bet it goes like the Sh*t too!

i park my corrado next to my golf which is in turn parked next to another corrado owned by the guy who lives in the flat next to me!
