Hi guys Just fitted my 268's. All went well. On timing the new cams up the front(shorter) was spot on however the rear(longer) cam didnt quite line up i.e to get the 4mm sheet in. It required the crank turning ever so slightly and i mean slightly. Its not a tooth out as that would swing the cam to far the other way. Anyways its all back together and running fine. I remember seeing this on vw vortex just wonder if anyones come across this before.

from the top of my head mine on stealths rollers when near standard made 162bhp ATW and 198bhp ATF so a 36 loss. End of the day wheel hp is all thats important.

Cool, keep us updated with how you get on. Be really interested to see how the TB's work out. -
having that before the cat and opening it up in 4th on the motorway would probably cause your head explode  LOUD! if you did want to fit one have it fitted after the cat/mid silencer and before the back box/rear silencer. Cant see it giving you any more performace on a NA car, forced induction then maybe yes.

If the lambda from gsf is a bosch unit you should be fine. Yeah change the blue temp sensor, half the price of the yellow and will/should improve your mpg.

Looks very tidy. Nice one. Any plans?

I think he is still doing them as my mate just brought an enlarged TB and manifold for his E36 328 BMW. If you do a search I think his e-mail address on here some where.

Thanks to Alex "Alex303" for the koni ta's and springs, well packaged and sent quickly.

Go for the ngk's they will be fine. As for the oil myself and a few others on here run the Silkolene Pro s 10w50, its a great oil and works very well with the hot running VR6 engine.

I'd say save mate. Hate seeing cars broken if there not completely buggered! -
Yup will fit just fine.

Sounds fine to me, 90% sure warm idle should be 650rpm.

If you go onto the edition38 forum, into the strictly dubs section and send them a pm they will do the jetex system for ~£300 delivered.
