As Kev Said above Opie Oils always do deals on oils with free shipping. Best place I ve found for the silky pro s10w50.

Cheers managed to sort it by cutting the original bolt down and extending the original thread.

No worries 8)

Problem with the Corrado speakers is there size. I run infinity comps up front with JBL 6x4's in the rear. I suffered the same problem as you. There are two options really the audioscape front door pods which allow for a decent sized speaker or a sub. I went for the latter. I didn't want a big sub and amp taking space and weighing 2 tonnes so went for an 8" Mac audio active sub small compact with the added depth I was looking for.

Doesn't look to be much oil in there.(looks clean though has it been refurbed?) Might be wise to get the oil pressure checked.

I believe the book figure is £163+Vat. Just replaced my non gen rad with a new gen item. Miles better in terms of quality.

This is turning out to be a right pain in the arse! I managed to find two part numbers on ETKA (only one listed for the corrado and one used on the MKiv golfs) so ordered both ... turns out they are both the same!!!! :( All I want is the dam cap but nothings coming up on their system. Surely other people must have found this to be a problem? as u have to change the bolt anyway whether u keep the cooler or not??
-
That sounds fine to me chap!
-
Did you fill from the expansion tank or via the top rad hose? If you used the expansion tank you may well have an air lock. Also there is a bleed valve on the crack pipe. Try bleeding that.
-
Ok cheers. That makes sense, I 'll check ETKA for the earlier part.

Anyone?

I have a mocal oil cooler kit for the Vr only I didnt have the sandwich plate bolt and cap. Now the original bolt is to long (I have ditched the original oil/water cooler) so i ordered the shorter bolt from g-werks that arrived fine. I was lead to believe that the bolt head/cap unscrews from the original bolt, however on ETKA it shows the bolt and head/cap as one. So am I still missing the bolt head/cap or does it indeed unscrew?? Any help much appreciated as the cars been off the road for 2 weeks already (hole in the rad) :( .

Snap. As mine is looking a little past it
-
Yeah Vince advised me not to run the Mkiv gasket if its charged.
-
yeah over geared for the vr imo. really want to get a lower final drive fitted in mine.
-
lol. I ve got one but its not yet fitted. Its alot lighter then the standard item and should yeild a nice gain. O and it also sounds great (apprently  ) You need to wrap the manifold for two reasons protection of the surrounding parts and reduce under bonnet temps also to improving the scavenging of exauhst gases helping the engine to breathe more efficiently. You should also check you engine mounts are in good order and look to maybe uprating the front mount as a min.
