check your fuses for the headlights (although it could also be the switch) Brake lights sounds like a dodgy brake light switch or a damaged wire...
-
It is GolfII front suspension, so MKII golf haynes is probably your best bet... 8)

ignition switch?

corradowales, so do standard corrados... ;) (or at least, they should have...)

Henny I managed to fit my FK's without any mods. Managed to get the light cluster from the old lights to fit into the new FK's just they had no clip but a secure fit all the same just final securing with a bit of ever useful Gaffa Tape!!!!! Blue_Joe, gaffa tape = modification... :-P I did the same to my lights when I got them but then decided to use the male spade terminal trick 'cos I didn't like the gaffa tape look... ;)

driver side only? Central locking pump or filler neck are the only 2 things I can think of that are on that side only... :?
-
woah! They didn't look like that when I sent 'em down to you! VERY nice mate... 8) Think I may have to give them a call when I re-do J-DUB's interior next year... ;)

TSR Performance 4 Branch Manifold for G60 - Anyone used one?

they're a pig to fit... They're pretty well made, but you must make sure that your engine mounts are spot on else you may end up cracking the 4 branch... ;) They should give you a slight torque increase but will help free up any other mods power... 8) -
eye, I suppose the worst that'll happen is that the assistance will just go making the steering almost as heavy as it was in my MKI Golf 16v... We'll find out for sure next week when I fit one of 'em anyway! Thanks for all the help peeps... 8)

Ooookay... the Corrado I wrote off and scrapped in 2000 is due for tax in August and last changed owner 05/2004... :| Oh, and my Automatic Golf MKI hasn't been taxed since 1999 and hasn't been declaired SORN... someone's been a little naughty... ;)

it was an option to have a full sized spare.... My first Corrado had a full size alloy spare, but both my G60s have space savers... Makes one hell of a difference to boot space having a space saver and early fuel tank... ;)
-
I also run a standard VR6 clutch in my 250ish BHP G60... best cheap upgrade for the G60 I've found so far... Unless you've done something rather spectacular to your VR6, the standard clutch should be well up to the job... 8)

problem being that with 250BHP+ if it does break, then it'll probably end up killing me in the process... :| :?

Umm, Kev? VAG say that ALL of their racks should use the green PAS fluid and that ATF will kill the internal seals... :| Good point about the pump though, I'd not thought about that aspect and that the pump may be the difference... Feck it, I'm just gonna fit the boogar and see what happens! ;)

g-man, I'll call you about a sump and some other bits this saturday morning... ;)
-
most of the ones I've done so far point almost exactly at the lower left corner (where the curve meets the flat bottom) when lifted over the stop and allowed to rest naturally... ;) Car's looking VERY nice Chris... 8)
-
as above... worth getting your rear axle bushes checked out though and DEFINATELY check your tyre pressures as something that simple can make a hell of a difference to the handling of your car... ;)
-
billinjahg60, it happens... Not as often as it used to, but it does happen... Supercharged, it's RHD so it's not gonna be an American spec rack! ;)

broken page link fixed with this post... ;)

Car: '92 G60 (J-DUB) Exhaust: Custom made by JP Exhausts in Macclesfield Opinion: Fits beautifully, nice and quiet up until 3500rpm when all hell breaks loose until 4500rpm when it goes nice and quiet again (as I requested it to do! ;) ) single round rolled tail pipe as they'd run out of ovals when I got it made...  Car: '92 G60 (J-DUB after the engine mods) Exhaust: custom (as above) with JMR/Milltek downpipe and ported manifold Opinion: Downpipe didn't make any difference to the noise of the system but did appear to help flow considerably Car: '91 G60 (H-YYU) Exhaust: Milltek full system Opinion: Oval tail pipe (kinda OEM+) Really like this system... was fitted to the car when I got it, but it sits nicely, is quiet enough when cruising but gives enough growl at 3000ish RPM to let people know that they need to get outta the way! ;)

got both FK and In-pros on my Corrados, one set of fully smoked and one set of smoked M3 style... BOTH sets needed some slight wiring adjustments due to having clear indicator lenses so they required the adaptor having male spade terminals crimped on so that they could be plugged into the existing wiring connector on the car... If they're OE then they'l be HELLA and won't have been made in Taiwan... Tread carefully... :?

to fit the VR into the MKI you need to completely re-build the front chassis legs to get the engine to fit into the bay, then you need to re-engineer the front suspension to use subframes (the MKI doens't have 'em...) so you can mount the engine and gearbox. You need a cable shift mechanism and hydraulic clutch setup fitting to the MKI shell and some SERIOUS brake upgrades... It IS do-able, but don't think it's an easy job... There's a couple of MKI VR6s around now, some are much better than others (the Awesome one was just that... fecking amazingly well done... 8) :notworthy: )... Good luck if you decide to do it.... It's a lot easier to drop one in a MKII though... ;)
