Corrado and VW roundel have pins behind 'em, the 16v/G60/supercharged/VR6 badge is just stuck on... 8)

true, but it's PART of the column so isn't the same part... Anyway, the downside is that the adjustable column is over £600 from VAG! :( Can we get James to knock some UJs up that would replace the originals I wonder?!? ;)
-
just make up some new brake pipes and remove the whole ABS system... Can't fail an MOT if it ain't fitted... ;)
-
ok, ok, I stand corrected... 8) 288s WILL fit a 4 stud car in that case, but I have no idea how much it'll cost to get the bits together... ;)
-
...unless it's automatic or hasn't got an adjustable steering column... ;)
-
yup, had similar before... glad you got it sorted... 8)

J-Dub was running power somewhere around there with a Quaife LSD and, although it was relatively easy to spin both front wheels if you wanted to, if you drove it properly/learnt how to drive it there wasn't a problem... 8)

I've got one on J-DUB... It's nicely made, much bigger internal bore and fits nicely without catching on anything... Can't tell you what kind of difference it's made 'cos I did another few grands worth of work while the car was apart when I fitted it... :|

which belt do you mean? The small one on the charger, or the large on which drives the waterpump and alternator too? If it's the big one, it doesn't need timing up... If it's the little one, ask G-man... ;) The silencer outlet is pretty easy to get off... Remove the rubber pipe which connects it to the pipe to the intercooler. Remove the screws which hold the 2 parts together (I think there are screws, it's ages since I did this) Unclip the 2 halves and remove the half furthest from the charger Undo the bolt that's now exposed inside the half on the charger BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO DROP ANYTHING INTO THE CHARGER!!!! Remove the other half Fit RSR with same bolt, fit connection pipe... Done... 8)

The clue was in the second bit of the title... I've edited the main title to reflect what the thread's on about...

sorry... I meant that Corradowales got it right, it was Dubweiser who were selling them... 8) -
unlocked by request... It's not the fuel pipes... ;) check the bolts that hold the FPR onto the end of the fuel rail are tight, that the O rings on the injectors and on the FPR to fuel rail are all OK and aren't perished and that the fuel rail itself isn't damaged... 8) Get it sorted BEFORE you go anywhere in the car as this could cause an serious engine fire... :|
-
he was taken to court due to the video in the car being spotted by someone else... We reported it as 79mph in a 30 zone on our radio station today... I hadn't seen the 159mph bit... :|

yeah, it's got the red scroll symbol as well as the "G60" script on the lid... It's still cheaper to get 'em from GPC and they have both G60 and 16V versions... ;)
-
nope, but where did you get one from? I'm missing them off BOTH my Corrados... :|
-
and two of 'em have now been deleted... ;) Interested in the QR depending on price inc shipping & tax... 8)
-
in fact, the Corrado jack won't actually jack up some of the later VR6 cars as their suspension was too tall for the jack to actually get the car off the ground... :| That's not a joke by the way... Don't ya just luuurrrrvvvveeee VAG?!?
-
nope, not unless you're living somewhere that gets REALLY cold like Scandinavia or Scotland... ;)
-
kevhaywire, the G60 ones have a picture of a G60 on them... ;) That's the difference... 8)
