It's bonnet foam for a Corrado apparently - just want to know if it will fit a VR6 bonnet? Vielen Danke :D
  2. I'm hoping to attend if I can get the bloody thing back together before I torch it
  3. Yep that's the ones - I was out there for over an hour and just can't for the life of me get them back on. Tried everything and only really wanted someone to say "bin em" This things really tried my patience over the last couple of weeks
  4. No it's not those ones lads - it's the ones that clamp onto the beam, then the flexi goes through them, then the clip above and onto the solid brake line. Hard to explain but they're big things that clamp on the end of the beam. I can get the top on then the bottom springs off and vice versa. They're really getting on my tits...
  5. How the f**k do these things fit??? They fell off when I was working on my rear brakes and I just can't get the bloody things back on! One of those stupid things that are doing my head in

    Front Seats

Had Recaro Speed SR seats in mine when I got it - fantastic seats and fitted a lot better than the Konigs I replaced them with. Hence why they are still in my garage - supposed to be for sale but I can't quite bring myself to get rid...
  7. Fantastic wheels and IMHO one of the finest you can fit to a Corrado. Pretty sure 17s are rare in 4 stud as well...
  8. Right something really spooky happened up there yesterday - I drove past the spot where they were and they'd disappeared! I stopped at a set of lights and there was an old man waiting to cross the road. I called out to him "Hey old timer - do you know anything about some huts that used to be over there?" He cackled maniacally before looking me straight in the eye and saying "There haven't been any huts there since 1948 me old duck. They were POW huts during the war and one night one of the inmates went berserk and slaughtered every poor soul in there then disappeared. Three years later they burnt down mysteriously" "B...but they w...were there just last week" I stammered looking at the spot. As I turned round the old man had vanished!!!! 50 yards down the road I spotted them, realised I was in the wrong place previously and saw the senile old twat on the other side of the road. The above may or may not be a true account. They are actually derelict pigeon huts.
  9. haha yess did you see that eibach brace on ebay, went for over 200 notes! Two hundred quid is mental!
  10. Oettinger? They were the same as Schrick but had Oettinger printed on the manifold rather than cast and the ones I've seen have all been very faded. Dickie - like the sound of that shift light. Is it the economy light or a race shift light? Loepan - that looks crap mate

  12. Haha you serious? Sheffield beach is one of the most famous in the country! It's absolutely stunning mate. Honestly I wouldn't bother with Tenerife etc this year - get yourself down to Thomas Cook and tell them you want a fortnight in the Sheffield Beach Front Aurora. It does get quite expensive in August though
  13. If you're easily bored I'd leave this thread now, if you are of an inquisitive mind then read on... If you go along the A61 past Sheffield Wednesdays ground on your right, towards the town, past the Bassett factory on the left and Pizza Hut on your right, just down there on the right on the side of a hill are a load of what look like derelict beach huts - anyone know what they are? I've been driving down that bit of road for years but only noticed them on Tuesday and it's doing my head in what they're there for...
  14. This is everything that's wrong with what people consider "rat look" is nowadays. Talk about trying too hard. That is ****ing terrible!

  17. With regards to the plaque - have a word with Goldie. I done a bit of measuring for him as he was planning to get one made up for his. Not sure if he ever got round to it. With regards to the controller box - apparently if you have a distributor you can hook the trigger wire up to pin 48 on the ecu as this goes to 14v at 4000rpm. This was the factory way of wiring them when new. Having said that though my car has a distributor and this didn't work - I had to use the control box. With regards to the control box - here's a cheaper version of the Summit Racing controller. Does the same job just cheaper http://www.bakerelectronix.com/products_rws/ Hope this helps with your sale Peter
  18. As has been said - it's all in how you ask. If I'm asked politely I will always do what I can to sort the situation amicably. Come out shouting the odds, swearing and threatening me and it's only going to end one way

Which tells you it's not worth £9000. Does it still need the tracking doing?

  21. Haha what a prick! The bloke that lived next door to my mums when I was in my teens decided to come out and complain about me parking outside his house just as I'd broken something on my car one afternoon - he got a quick K'off mate, carried it on and on, threatened my mum which ended with him on the floor and his mrs nearly getting a crack as well. Wouldn't have minded so much but the reason I had to park out the front of his was cos his mate used to deliberately park just enough across our house so my car wouldn't fit. The fella across the road from my mums used to have a De Tomaso Pantera that ran straight through exhausts and as much as I liked him and loved that car hearing him fire it up on a Sunday morning when I had not long been in and had a raging hangover used to get on my tits something chronic.
