Nice one that would be excellent cheers Sean

Whoa that looks awesome Matt. Top, top work! If you're one of these lucky sods with an understanding mrs - chuck your washer bottle, expansion tank etc in the dishwasher. If you aren't - just wait til she's out for the day

As much as it's kind of stale and I'm not a massive fan of Clarkson, it wouldn't be the same without him whoever they replace him with. Got to laugh as well at the campaign to get him reinstated before anyone actually knows what he's done - he could have been caught setting fire to live kittens and throwing them at sick orphans for all anyone knows

Right firstly - thanks Andy for taking this on. I would have done but didn't even realise it had gone this far til yesterday when I logged on, much appreciated. Secondly - thanks to Diarmid for giving one of his up for me. Again much appreciated and nice to see this forums still got some real gents on it. I owe you mate :) Thirdly - I've just paid and need a late style Andy please. Finally - Anyone know just how hairy his arse actually is? Just curious.... -
Women's Auxilliary Balloon Corp? Would one of you gents be kind enough to let me know next time there's a VAT free day please?

I just wish Vince would do a DIY version of the turbo kit but I fully understand why he doesn't. As frustrating as it is at times, I get so much more satisfaction doing jobs myself. *puts Brixworth into sat nav*

Got a spare room? :D Just out of interest - has everyone given up on supercharging now?
-
Sorry Chris On the downside you do get shot at
-
How do you find out about these? I'm on their mailing list but only ever find out about them after the event :(
-

Hate to go against the grain here but I have HIDs in my car and I love them! I do have a very friendly MOT man so that's never been an issue and from what I've been told by mates they look great in the rear view mirror as well.
-
-
Sorry Matt I read your post saying too many miles as too far to travel, not too many miles on the car. My mistake sincere apologies.
-
Thanks lads appreciate the comments. Although I've built it how I like it, it means a lot to me that others appreciate my efforts :) GWR - do you mean the fogs or the whole car? If it's the fogs it's Lamin-X. PM Riley on here and he'll hook you up
-
Cheers Matty much appreciated mate :) Whereabouts in Surrey are you? Thing is Chris I've got to decide whether I want a mrs or a turbo. Got to be honest the turbos winning the vote at the minute I think end of the show season as well tbh. Quite a lot going on in the warmer months so would be nice to have a late end of season catch up
-
Oh man that's fantastic news obviously but really isn't helping my turbo itch. Maybe over the winter...
-
Another quick update. Yes I did do the rears and yes they were every bit as much of a pain in the arse as the fronts, if not even more so. Long story short - snapped stub bolts, broken EZ Out, knackered drill bits, bits missing from the kit, tools lent out not returned, caliper fouling issues, incorrect bolts used... But I got there in the end, it looks awesome and let's face it - we wouldn't do it if it was easy, would we? Would we? Oh and massive thanks to Purple Tom for all his advice and Emu for the link to the hub kit
-
Yeah absolutely mental car mate. Has it been reliable Matty? That's the major thing (other than the money obviously) that puts me off. I've had no problems mechanically with my car whatsoever (kiss of death right there) and every car I've seriously tuned has binned the reliability

Ahaaa ok nice one that was you. Cheers mate appreciated :)

Genuine italvolanti black leather steering wheel. Superb condition
Jamie replied to Dox's topic in Ebay and Misc
Nope I'm not a fan either really. Hence why it's in my loft and not on the car. Tbh I would have a standard wheel on mine if the Momo didn't have such sentimental value to me -
Hahaha bloody hell Matt don't want much do you - got to be red, got to be manual, got to be M/N plate and must be within a 50 mile radius of Manchester! I travelled further than that to buy a bonnet
-
Sorry David - you will have to pick one of the above. Just gets confusing otherwise
-
You need to change your sig man :D
-
I met him! Chris were you the lad I spoke to for about 10 seconds before I left? Come on Sean it's not hard mate - everyone on here's either called Chris, Sean, Matt or a variation of James :D I didn't know you were there mate. But then I'm not really one for just going up to people and talking... Are the couple from Glastonbury with the dark blue Corrado members on here? Really friendly and I chatted to them for quite a while but never got their names
