Exactly how I've done mine but the sound quality is terrible - lots of reflections and a very narrow stage. Really want to build some A pillar builds but my DLS tweets are huge...

Why would working on US time stop them emailing you back? Then again the phirm can't really slate anyone for not returning calls/emails - nice enough bunch of lads and their work is decent enough but they never get back to you either

Hahaha not to mention the worlds leading authority on numberplates? :lol: I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if they had spotted that car and said "Bloody hell look at that - how funny would it be to take that to Argentina" without fully thinking it through. I take Jims point and yes I agree but it only became an issue when the Argetinians kicked off (if it was indeed genuine).

The thing is there's probably a million bulbs out there that are absolutely fine but this has just made me paranoid now. The light came on when I unlocked the car and I jumped straight and saw it, could have been a lot worse if say I'd been rifling round in the boot and not noticed it, just melted the lens on the interior light. Luckily it was my daily not the Corrado... Chris I would have happily swapped my VSR for your Golf mate but alas you sold it :( -

I don't know I'm very cynical about anything like that - press release in October about the attack, bit of an uproar, people desperate to see what happens when the shows aired. Agree about that plate - I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone spotted that car for sale and that's what made the decision to go to Argentina

^ This. I went a few years back and quite enjoyed it but I think that was more due to the fact I hadn't been to a VW show for 7-8 years. You do get a few nice cars there but the endless identikit show cars gets boring quite quickly.

If them getting attacked was genuine, and I'm still not convinced it was, then fair play to the Argentinians. I know Clarksons an arrogant twat but the way they think they can just rock up, take the **** out of people with "hilarious" bantz and not get pulled on it gets on my tits. But like I say I'm not convinced the whole thing wasn't set up. Oh and did I mention I'd like to smash Hammonds face in? With a mallet?
