  1. Early Sunday pic reminder for you Mr Fuzzer ;) :D
  2. Please tell me they were still on the bed
  3. Ok cool. I'm on my phone and it's a bit hard to see properly
  4. Are they just dirty marks on that first pic Chris, or has the leather worn through?
  5. No that's the thing - there's not a lot of other options as far as I'm aware. Spoonfed do one but it's horrendous money and I've not seen one so can't comment on the quality, although his stuff is apparently top notch
  6. I'll be your N/A friend - I'll never go FI... :( * *Subject to change if I happen to find five grand in the street ;)
  7. Just the fit, finish and general quality isn't great. Don't get me wrong there's loads of people perfectly happy with theirs, I'm just really picky and even though I "only" paid £70 for mine, I just wasn't happy with what I got for my money (that's not a snipe at the seller btw). My advice would be try and have a look at one before you fork out - you might be perfectly happy with it and think I'm being a nob
  8. That sounds interesting Chris. Could you send us some pics please mate? :)
  9. Apparently the wife of the Corrado chief design engineer Herbert Schäfer, said that Taifun (pronounced Ty-Foon) sounded too much like Typhoo and would be compared to a teabag and ridiculed by the British.
  10. I checked Jamie was available before I asked. Thanks Jim :) Must admit I was half expecting it getting changed to something like Spray Can Man or something

    Floor mats

They look pretty good from the pics but is it me or is that on the wrong side?
  12. Hahaha they aren't just rare they are eBay **RARE** so I'd let it go for around £700  Incidentally if anyone has a dark coloured car, I reckon the scuttle would look excellent painted body colour
  13. Just wondered if it was possible to change my name to just Jamie and drop the ©? I think that's what's causing my Panjo issues and I'm quite keen to get it sorted :) Cheers
  14. Hahaha very funny  Cage looks fantastic! Personally wouldn't bother with the SWG item, I'm not impressed with mine.
  15. Sorry mate missed this the first time. It goes over the top of the wiper spindles - ie you have to take the arms off to fit it. Have to take some trim off the bottom of the screen as well. If you're thinking of buying one mate, unless it's an absolute screaming bargain, I wouldn't bother. The finish is fine Matt. Plastikote is quite a plasticky (hence the name) and very durable finish. The strut brace is a very rare and highly sought after Eibach item :D Hasan - pretty sure bumper paint would do the job just fine :)
  16. Didn't prep it at all other than washed it down with fairy liquid, dried it off and gave it a wipe over with thinners. I used satin black Plastikote but a bit of a trade secret here - I dusted on about three light coats at 10 minute intervals, then put on a heavy wet top coat. Then just before that is almost dry, dust on a very light coat from quite a distance. The idea is that this dust coat hits the almost dry top coat pretty much dry. This will give it a nice factory type texture :)
  17. I'm pretty sue most of the old hands on here will have probably seen this before but I just found this and thought it was quite interesting
  18. She's kind of used to it (coming home to find Lambretta engines in bits on the dining table, Type III interiors drying in the bedroom etc) but she's very house proud and still goes nuts about it  Anyway a pic as requested. It's just a standard SWG scuttle with a bit of satin black to give it a more factory look as the standard gloss finish looks arse

    HID's

I'm not normally a fan of pikey aftermarket HIDs but the ones in my C are awesome. Look great, light up the road great and from what I've been told they look factory to the car in front. Not great pics but kind of gives you the idea... (this bottom pic was around 5:00am when we were setting off to Worthersee so not pitch dark but not as bright as it looks in the picture)
  20. Fear not chums - just call me Mr Winston Wolf Unfortunately it was a waste of time as my daughter came home and opened the front door, which blew a load of bits onto the drying surface and it looks crap! Oh yeah I did get asked "Do you know what this black dust is all over the dining room floor?" "Erm... No nothing to do with me..." Baron - that was genius. If only I'd read that before I spent an hour cleaning up
  21. while my girlfriend was out, threw a dust sheet over the settee and put plenty of newspaper down. That'll be a tiny bit of overspray then...
