Craig don't sweat too much if your cars not ready mate - I'll have a spare seat and I'm sure I can make some room in the boot, so your mrs can jump in with me and there's a bus station by the ferry port for you :D That does look awesome Torsten. Excellent :) I've done a bit more loom wrapping and engine bay detailing today. Nothing exciting. Had some plans for something else but some of the bits didn't turn up...

That does indeed look great. I done mine myself in the summer but used masking tape covered in wax, still came out quite nicely :)

Really? I didn't think just changing the lens would have that much of an impact. Tbh I'm not really bothered about the light output it's more aesthetic for me. It's not like my car ever comes out in bad weather and I'm not the kind of helmet that drives round with the fogs on for the sake of it

What gets me is my mates work van costs around the same to tax as my Corrado, I done 1200 miles last year and he does that a week! And as much as I'm all for the monthly payment, it will be a stealthy way of whacking the price up - if your tax goes up £2 a month you'll probably just go "Oh well it's only £2", then they do it again next year and you think "Oh well it's only £2" but your road tax has increased by £48...

Hahaha Yeah I much prefer my good looking but argumentative bint that gets on my tits constantly. I'm getting to the point where I cause an argument just to get the silent treatment for a bit of P&Q :lol: Back on topic - whenever I feel like I've had enough of my car a quick B-Road blast soon sorts the love out again. I think if I did finally throw it all in it for something more modern it would have to be an R32

Yeah I saw that. To be fair to the Asian guy, I thought he was spot on when he said "because you're a girl you won't notice the lack of power" :lol: May be worth making a note of that Corrados reg in case it turns up for sale with "Recently recon'd engine fitted" in the ad :D

Saw a lot of cars at Worthersee using those little suckers that you fix bathroom shelves with to fix their plates. Asked a Dutch bloke how secure they were and he said he'd driven all over Europe in the car and not had an issue yet. If you are going to go down the magnet route make sure you do either Plasti Dip them or put a rubber gasket over them and make sure they're spotlessly clean when you attach them as they do vibrate and will wreck your paint. I learnt this the hard way :(
