  1. Tomi is a good fella mate - very straight up and extremely honest. Plenty on here have had bits off him with no problems at all
  2. Quicky Andrew at LWS Design was looking at ripping these off a while back - not sure how car he got with it but may be worth giving him a shout?
  3. Is this you pal? Kev I know you're not a fan of chargers these days but if you were, what are your thoughts on 268 cams with a charger?
  4. So it's for doing wheelspins to attract girls?
  5. Shows what you know - less weight = faster you nob. That's interesting Ian when mine broke iq rang the dealer and was quoted 21 something plus vat I think it was, hence I don't have one and my cars faster.
  6. You can but they're around £25 Jim. If you're that bothered Mic just use a normal bit of wire. I'm not even sure why it's needed really. Mine was broken by the bodyshop and I've not replaced it doesn't seem to be causing any I'll effects...
  7. Could you not meet halfway? That's what we did with the seats cos they were quite bulky remember?
  8. Well in mate. You must be buzzing
  9. I'm pretty sure you've already told me but refresh my memory about the advantages of a 3.68? Also are you planning on keeping the 268s with a supercharger? Might be wrong but I'm sure I've read somewhere they don't work well with chargers...?
  10. How are you finding the Shrick and cams combo Matt? Complete transformation?
  11. I just used a bit of fuel hose. All it needs to do is insulate doesn't have to be anything fancy
  12. Awesome! I was expecting the more knowledgeable types to say no it won't be that, this is a different type of fault if I'm honest. Glad it worked :)
  13. Not really looking for a step up as such Sean, more a change in direction really. My plan all along was to keep the Corrado alongside my new toy. Storage is the main obstacle really Haha it was a Honda Jazz actually
  14. This is it - I'm seeing very tidy examples for silly money at the moment. Even if you factor in an uprated IMS or worse case scenario a Hartech rebuild the they still seem to be bargains for what you get for your money
  15. Wasn't having a go Nick I just wondered as one of the things that puts me off turboing is the increased strain on the drivetrain components. Does look a fantastic car though. Ha - know how you feel Mic
  16. I had similar symptoms with my car and it was the ecu grounding on the chassis as one of the rubber feet was split. Not sure which realy it was that was clicking though.
  17. Were the drivetrain replacements due to the turboing Nick, or just general wear and tear?
  18. Right been thinking about this a lot the last few days and bearing in mind every single person I've mentioned it to has said I'd be insane to sell it and the fact I've regretted selling pretty much every car I've ever owned, it's got a stay of execution for the time being. I'm just going to push it into the garage for now and see if the enthusiasm returns. Thanks for all the love you lot :) IF I do come to sell - would you say £5k would be a fair price or a bit steep?
  19. Haha out of my mind - I take it you mean that in a good way? Cheers Mic but dunno if I'd go that far mate but thanks anyway. Matt - the cars I've been lashing up on FB were always in addition to, not to replace the Corrado but you are kind of kind of right - it's been going on a little while but that E38 thing just made me realise I'm bored of VWs, bored of the VW scene and that. I'm not even 100% I'm definitely going to sell but if I do the car will be going in one hit, I'm not pulling it apart. The only exception to that will be the VSR and one of my mates has his name on that, next in line would be Chris Langdon and then Goldie so there's already a bit of a queue :) Thanks for all the compliments though, they're really helping my decision :D
  20. Right I've been doing a bit of thinking recently and I'm starting to think the time has come and I'm thinking about selling up :( Just want to gauge interest at the moment and see what people think price wise - cars a 93 VR6, approx 142k, chains were done around 20k ago, highlights VSR manifold, 312mm front brakes with Brembos, 280mm Rear brake conversion, full leather interior with Konig front seats, front end recently painted including front bumper smoothed and rear tow eye delete, all sorts of other desirable bits and pieces, everything works bar the air con. What does the panel think?
  21. Yeah see that's my problem Sean - the Porsche I want is an aircooled one which is now waaaayyy out of my price range. I've been looking at maybe getting another old American car recently as well so the Porsche thing may be going on the back burner for the time being and I may be putting my Corrado up for sale very soon as well. Main problem being I'm selling a house and am just getting messed about left, right and centre by "buyers" pulling out so I'm no further forward on anything at the moment.
  22. Yeah looking good Sean. I've put this up on here before but still my current favourite
  23. Ron do you just want pics sent to the merchandise@ email address?
