Think Vinces kit is very reliable but at the minute my cars sort of OEM+ and don't really want to move too far away from that. Who knows though - I change my mind about stuff almost as often as I blink
-
Ha - knew I wasn't going mad :D
-
No idea now mate sorry - it was two years ago *edit* Think it might have been this one http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=161604522887&globalID=EBAY-GB
-
Yeah - it was you that put me off in the first place wasn't it...
-
Ahhhh right think we're talking at crossed purposes here - I thought they were talking about the self adhesive Corrado script vinyl sill trims
-
Do you have a part number Ian? I only get one page.... Hold on I might be getting mixed up here - are you all talking about these?
-
Nice - that's pretty impressive! Yeah know what you mean Pete and I've considered the Stealth route myself, trouble is a turbo is pretty permanent
-
Am I going blind - I've checked that link half a dozen times and I just can't see them on there
-
I didn't have to use any form of clamp - once that AS glue grabs it's stuck. The downside obviously is you need to get it right first time
-
I'm interested to find out whether you like it too. Superchargers seem to have really fallen out of favour since the turbo craze kicked off but they still kind of appeal to me
-
I got mine off eBay. Looks exactly the same as the rightclick one and was a piece of **** to fit
-
It does go quite far. I reckon the smallest tin would be more than enough.
-
I use this and it's excellent. http://www.as-trim.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_16_20 The only thing to be wary of with superglue it does eventually go brittle and will start breaking up
-
Have a word with Goldie - I measured mine up and gave him all the measurements when he was looking to get one made up for his

Well I'm running a BMC with a nice fat hole just below it so was a bit risky but tbh there was about 12 cars on a single track road behind me so I'd rather have killed my car than have the shame of backing that lot up  Yeah came over the bonnet Mic - up to the scuttle and just touched the bottom of the screen. I went in a bit cautiously but when I realised how deep it was I decided that discretion wasn't the better part of valor and just nailed it! Obviously not my car but gives you the idea of the depth

Schimmel Performance 263 VR6 cams, possible Group Buy
Jamie replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in Forum Group-Buys
I thought SP263s normally changed hands for around £300? I've just bought a pair of DRC 268s for £250 brand new... -
Haha God knows! Superior German engineering? I was out with a load of 30s-60s American cars and Hot Rods and some of them really don't like my car and bearing in mind my car is significantly lower than any of theirs, I was really worried about being the one that cut out...
-
Went for a run out with some of my friends yesterday and along the route came across this little obstacle...
-
I had a Jetex on my MKII a few years back and I really rated it. Fit was spot on and the sound was sporty without sounding like a nobhead and wasn't at all intrusive at cruising speeds. I would recommend them
-
^ brilliant idea - nicking that! Got loads of that LED strip left over from my boot install
-
I've got a Yi Action camera which is a Go Pro rip off and that has a dash cam function. Only £40 and actually really decent quality footage
-
Ah ok I just thought cos I know his was pretty cheap but £700 is almost theft! Well done man...
-
Was this Bennys of VR6OC Pete? Really interested in how you get on with this. Soz can't help with your actual enquiry

S3 Quattro not a viable option? I know it would be a massive amount of work but more OEM(ish) choice? Would the benefit of better traction/transmission not offset the gain in weight Hummuh?
