It's worth buying a stock of filters from europarts when on offer. They normally knock them out for about a fiver delivered.

Is classic insurance only for people using it as a second car ? Could you qualify if it's limited to say 5k miles and not commuting to work.

is rod tax for fishing ? agree about claim from local council.... start by getting a form and tacking pictures of pot hole with measuring stick before they fill them in.

Looking good Chris.... Hope to see it at a show this year. Was hoping to spend a bit more time on mine over the winter. It seems a new bathroom and kitchen was priority and taking the my time up.

http://magnatec.castrol.com/en/oil-selector.html Castrol oil selector punch your reg in. Castrol syntrans transaxle. I guess its the same stuff but to VW spec. the pot in my garage says something like vw 501 whatever it is. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Castrol-Syntrans-Transaxle-75W-90-Synthetic-Transmission-Fluid-75W90-1-Litre-1L-/181234163972?pt=UK_Vehicle_Oils_Lubricants_Fluids&hash=item2a3265e104

Do they sell it in halfords. I bought some then took it back because it wasn't the transaxle stuff which is different spec. It's not the multivehicle stuff that halfords sell but I guess it would do. You need 2 bottles. Opie sell it for 21 quid delivered on ebay the correct stuff is syntrans transaxle not multivehicle
-
Castrol syntrans transaxle 75/90 Castrol website is your friend just punch you reg no in. I chose this over the redline stuff last year. Bough from opie off ebay It's the correct vw spec.
