  1. £45 delivered and I'd be interested. Which is about the going ebay rate. Any more I'd just buy the new hard back version from amazon for £72 delivered.
  2. you had 6 sleeps to go earlier, have you had a kip this afternoon 8)
  3. there should be a box in the engine bay passenger side near the windscreen black with green line round the middle. if you got an extra key with the car that's about 1 inch long you should be able to put it in the box to turn the alarm off and on and reset it.
  4. heater matrix are not expensive, you should be able to change it in a weekend. I quess it all depends on how much you initially paid for the car as whether its worth breaking and how much time you have. the leather in good nick will be worth about £400. I guess if the paint is bad it's never going to be a show winner with out a respray. what plans did you initially have for the car ?
  5. standard spec audi maybe not exciting but s-line spec is good and they look nice.... however my 2 year old a4 s-line ride quality is a bit harsh and tyres are 200 notes a corner.
  6. its not the gripping of the plug. when you have nipped it up and you try and remove socket and extensions that don't have the locking pip like dox has suggested your sockets is normally left on the plug and you just remove the extension and ratchet.
  7. don't think it does leads.... it just prevents you having to have an assortment of extensions on a socket that fall apart when removing the plug..... I normally tape my extensions and socket together and they still fall apart. my only question would be is it long enough to get through the v6 engine plastic
  8. yup agree.... expensive bolts from memory about £3 each.... and tightened to 65N/m
  9. front bearings you will. but rear you can do with some standard garage kit.... for the rear buy new disks pads bearings and abs ring. the bearing shells can be tapped into the disks gently. I used a big socket and vice / mallet / workmate to push them home. you may need a wind back tool from Halfords for about £20 to wind the caliper piston back.
  10. if you need it collecting sean it just down the road from me. :)
  11. No not for four five years. Think he got married and bought a house in fairfordleys. Which put his plans for a turbo on hold. I don't know much about the car apart from as mentioned I walk past it on the way to station. It used to be on a set of borbet rims, grey leather and ddi dials last time I spoke to him. Some of the older forum members should be able to give you some info on the car...
  12. Yer... Just up by the church and duck pond. There were three blue vr's in the village and a white g60 but one has now gone !
  13. Ha ha... Thought so... Just up the road from me next to browns, forum members therapor's old car... Not noticed the car this past week walking to the station.... 15. No.. I just charge mine every 6 weeks... batteries are cheap enough to buy a new one every few years if needed.... have a look at euro parts for battery prices. mines not been out of the garage for the last 10 years ! cars on the third battery in 18 years !
  16. and join the CCGB - Clio Club of Great Britain
  17. when you have sorted your niggles have a good look at your brakes before you go out... rado brakes a prone to seizing if left stood. been their done that :(

  19. I've always loved nugget corrado's buy would you buy a yellow car ??? I'm thinking of a 2008 plate Audi. is it something you get slowly sick off. will I struggle selling it on ?
  20. No but it might suit your wheelbarrow
  21. or on the other hand.... if your like me don't use it, have the space to keep it and don't need the funds for another car.... keep it. I don't drive mine just spend money on it. as long as I don't have to spent huge amounts on mine... mine will stay a few more years... hopefully another 17.
