I'm assuming the mk4 calipers used are correct for the VR ????
-
Are these parts listed in the how to suitable for a VR6 conversion to mk 4 rear calipers ??? or are they just for 16v and g60 models. in which case what do i need. other than VR discs / bearing's / pads. super write up !

so 2013 is the year the rado coming out on the road. I've not seriously used her since 1999/2000 and she only done about 200 miles in the last 12 years :( started to write a list of stuff to do before spring arrives. I've put a new battery in today and a new complete oem exhaust on a few weekends ago. New tyres next week as the current eagle F1's with about 6mm tread have gone very hard. So what should i be looking at over the winter ??? i'm thinking gearbox / engine oil change and filter's, coolant, brake fluid change, change screenwash, rebuild rear brakes (had problems with sticking calipers in the past. new fuel filters. cars got 40k on the clock currently totally standard VR.

I have the forum in my favorites, and for the first time yesterday i clicked the corrado forum link i've got set up and got directed straight away to another page asking me to fill a survey in again at testables -
i used to buy from camskill or my tyres on line.... but i use event tyres these day. you pay a few quid more but they come to you... either work or home and you don't waste you time sitting at kwik fit or a similar tyre garage.

I bought my VR when i was 19... the car was 18 months old at the time in 1997 with about 8K miles on the clock.... still got it in the garage. she only covered 41K miles to date. one of the better things i've bought in life. :)

Your SORN starts from the start of the month ie.... 1st November when your tax runs out, unless your claiming money back which you can't half way through the month. to be sure do it online next wednesday. it's a 2min job and you just print out the sorn cert, then they send you comfirmation through the post. just looked at my sorn which i did mid august before i went on holiday and it says from 1st september. my insurance company was funny about it being sorn on a normal policy. i had to take out a laid up policy.

my thinking too.... it's not a chrome badge but a painted silver one unfortunatly... :(

Anything really from wickes + B&Q. I have one on my boat (45 foot) that i run on a timer through out the winter 4 hours a day (to save power) and as the interior is wood it doesent dry the wood out. Things to look for are size of water collector (will save you from emptying it too often or i guess you could do as it do have a pipe from the back and drain it into a large container (i drain mine straight into the sea). I also have a couple of green house heater bought from screwfix. http://www.screwfix.com/p/winterwarm-tubular-wall-hung-heater-120w/71539 these just come with a cable and you wire a plug on them. both the above i have on timers and thermostatic controllers.

my 95 vr had a cdx 4100 from new.... it has exactly the same face as the one you bought. but i guess it has a few less functions. as long as it has the green back light (they also came in orange) it will be right. they sound rubbish compared to 2days stereo's and the buttons cause problems over time.
-
my j plate 16v came with a pull out panasonic tape player.... my vr had a sony cd player cdx 4100 or something like that in.... they were really bad quality machines compared with new ones these days. I've just put a new sony in nothing flash cd / tuner with USB and AUX port.... very pleased £59 delivered from amazon. best of both worlds bit of quality but also some how looks like my old orig vr cd player
