i need to change the bulb that illuminates the cig lighter. i've got the unit out but still can't work out if it's a bulb that i can buy from halfords or it's a new complete unit from VW... the bulb seems to be solid in the holder. I've just bought a new lighter and facia plate from VW but never thought a new bulb was required. Okay just got the bulb out... I guess it's a trip to maplins then a quick solder. sorry tried to delete the post but cant quite work out how.

There's a few about even one storm that i know... I bought mine with 5K on the clock. in 1996. I've not used mine much in the last 10 years... er 5 miles since last march (just noticed as i've done an oil change) ..... too many other interests ie... something to do with that other forum were both a member of... Oh you cant drive too far round jersey ! hence the mileage

where ever it is they need a cleaner :)

where do VW keep their parts :) I ordered a few things in the week from the dealer which took 7 days... plastic fascia bits turn up covered in dust and faded. I know my car never sees the daylight but it certainly doesn't go with a black dashboard :)

get that standard suspension back on... least i won't feel left out. :) sorry to here about the MOT :(

yes one of my rocker arms has broken too. so i guess you switch is exactly the same state of mine. i'm going to attempt to fibreglass mine today as superglue is rubbish. thanks for the prompt responce anyway

do you have a headlight switch for a 1995 VR6 should have part number of 535 941 531 F. price including postage please.

As title i 'm looking for a headlight switch for a corrado VR6 of 1995 vintage. should have part number of 535 941 531 F. I've seemed to of broken one of the tabs on the front facia plate rocker... see picture. whole switch is not required but would take whole switch. see attached picture. also do you know if you can still buy them from VW. and price please Thanks

any ideas where i can get some spare gold plated amp grubscrews from for my genisus amp ?? I've done a bit of google halfords ebay and maplins..... I was surprised none on ebay.. anyway other than my local car stereo place any other options.

you can reduce miles... but don't know how.. I was close in buying a storm in 1998 that had been clocked 50K, it was only after contacting VW to confirm the history of the car it came to light. wish i took note of the reg plate afterwards :(. so threre is one storm in green going about with less miles on the clock

is it an easy job to remove the wing mirrors ?? i can see two phillips screw heads but are they tapped into the door or do they have nuts inside the door. I've been tring to clean 15 years of dirt / polish from round the gasket between the mirror and the door with a tooth brush but it ideally needs the mirror removing. I'm guessing it has a loom attached to the mirror as well. also any tips on cleaning the ridge between the bottom of the side window rubbers and where it meets the painted panel. I'm thinking tooth brush again. TIA

you need a rear seat without a hump ! fits easily in the back in a bike bag and the seats folded down !

Out of interest are those LED's 2 different colours ??? I've never understood why when i turn my lights on the half the switch illuminates Orange / Green at the top and Green at the bottom.

think this was the time they changed the style of the V5 making it harder to forge... I remember getting issued a new V5 for my corrado round about that time...
