looks like your sorted ! only thing i can say is don't rely too much or your EHIC (E111), it's quite frankly rubbish. I'd always have seperate medical insurance... I've been caught twice and ended up paying. have a good few dayz

any comments on wear rate and internal noise of a Toyo T1-R compared to a uniroyal rain sport 2 please, on a VR in 205 50 15 flavour...... Yes I've read the thread even the longer version but still confused I change my mind each day. yesterday it was dunlop sport 01's :D just because my VR came with Dunlope from new. help please me choose a tyre for my VR, I'm having sleepless nights about it :D Oh I have some eagle F1's at the moment... the decent one's when they were made in germany.

do the tyre's may need re balancing ? does the steering wheel vibrate ?

mine was looking pants, all the chrome had come off (too much car washing), i tried to spray one up with chrome paint and it looked pants. I have one for best and one for play now.

i'm not sure.... we have a corsa that we've had from new and that has GM secrit windows and a pilkington GM window for the front. so now I'm sitting on the fence.

Hummm I've had my car since late 1997 when it had 5K approx on the clock and today i only realise that the front window may of been replaced or has it ??? all the other windows are stamped secrit VW and the front just where the tax disc goes says pilkington new Zealand... Humm no sign of excess sealant inside where someone may of changed it. so is it original for an N plate corrado..

if it's anything like the chrome plasticote paint. it's rubbish. i tried to spray a VW badge up and it looked nothing like the orig.

I used a multi metre.... unclip each sensor socket and check the resistance. can't remember what they should be. the knackered one is the one with the lowest resistance.. you should get three readings that are approx the same and one low one.

Yeah my place have standard charges like that too. They're the best balancers around my parts by far, so I don't mind paying them to do a good job tbh. any good or bad vibes about camskill... needs some tyres tried to ring to confirm availability and it just keeps ringing.

Left my audi outside a block of apartment which when i returned from a weeks holiday had scaffolding around it. It wasn't until i got in the car i noticed the bonnet had been totally plastered by bird cr@p which must of been on the bonnet a week or so, I had a little chuckle at the time. I guess it's starling roosting time and they used the scaffolding to hang out (good job they hadn't been eating blackberries). anyway washed the car this morning and tried to polish the bonnet but the marks have stained the paint work. I've used autoglem on the bonnet and a bit of t-cut you can still see evidence... any idea's it not funny any more.

dumb Q... Is it okay to have a directional tyre as a spare ?? assume if i have a puncture on the wrong side i shouldn't rag it or do i need to reverse all the way home ? Oh this is a serious Q
