  1. Get your money out: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/711601.htm
  2. Yet more proof that i am never going to escape the clutches of corrado ownership! God dammit
  3. Clearly angry about his inability to score at Pride Park! UP THE RAMS!!!!
  4. Renault build quality is really coming along nicely now too.
  5. Or do things properly........ http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1995-M-NISSAN-SKY ... 240%3A1318
  6. I would imagine that you'd sell a 55plate curpa r for £6k within minutes to be honest. As for the TT, some can look pretty nice, my cousin has one and i wasnt overly impressed with the 4wd system to be honest, had a lot of understeer in comparison to my rado. If i had around £11k to spend i'd be looking at mk4 R32's, but then they're a completely different car to a TT so depends what you're looking for really, they are well built though, no denying that.
  7. And yet another reminder to everyone on here as to why you're stuck with your corrado forever
  8. The V6 quattro is down as 7.0 and the 225 quattro is down as 6.1. Surely 6.1 is a little optomistic, even with 225 bhp. Surely that means with some breathing mods and a remap you'd be looking at 5.5ish. I know 0-60 isnt what a car is all about, but its the bench mark that is usually used. Still, a Skyline GTR V-spec R33 is down as 5.7, which is the kind of 'next car' i'd be looking at after a rado. Or just throw caution to the wind and charge a VR, but being a rado owner already that sounds more expensive than running a skyline!!
  9. My mate has recently bought a 53 plate Focus RS and has taken me out for a spin in it. Now dont get me wrong, its pretty nippy, but he started quoted some figures of one of them was a 0-60 time of 5.9secs, which he got from the EVO magazine. Now i know its a nippy car, but i dont think its quite that nippy. I had a lil gander in the back of my EVO mag when i got back and sure enough it has the RS down at 5.9, so i had a look at some other similar cars. The Integra DC5 for example. Now i know the Vtec engine delivers the power very differently to the 2L turbo in the RS, but it has the 0-60 of the integra down as just 7.2, surely it cant be that different to the RS? Anyone got any thoughts on the figures quotes in this mag? Some of them seem slightly out of line, like an Audi TT 225 being a few tenths of the 0-60 of a P1 scooby
  10. If my car wasnt red and didnt need constant attention i'd take it somewhere like that. My mate has a mk4 golf, silver, and he takes it to the local hand wash where its done for a fiver in 15mins, then heads down the pub for a pint to watch the footy whilst im at home struggling with my pink paintwork. I know which one i'd rather be doing!
  11. Did the standard Cupra's come in white then?
  12. Another positive witha white one is no need for polishing. With an 18yr old red car polishing/waxing is beginning to grate my nerves
  13. Gotta say it looked awesome. I think in a year or so i'll need to start considering letting the rado go for something newer
  14. Did they make the older (225) curpa r's in white? I didnt think they did, but on the way home on Friday i spotted a white one, some smoothing with white wheels, and to be honest it looked gorgeous
  15. I've got some issues with my heating. When you start the car the heating slowly warms up with the engine, as you would expect. But then after 5-10 mins the air gets colder as the engine gets warmer. As the water temperature increases the air temperature decreases, until eventually there is no difference between hot and cold settings on the heater controls. What on earth is going on? Its a 1990 valver, incase that makes any difference.
  16. Slightly slanted, getting sorted after christmas. As for the make, i have no idea, i took if off the silver donar car on my driveway that i bought off a bloke at work. So thats wheels and exhaust im using that i have no idea what they are
  17. Do the straight 5's suffer the same piston issues as the V5?
  18. Is the 5 pot engine the same as the one used in the mk4 generation golf? I've heard various people say they sound like the scooby boxer engine?!? Any truth in that?
  19. Despite my initial grumblings about this car i've actually seen a few photoshopped examples, and ive got to say that some of them look stunning. The right choice of rims and a nice drop seems to completely transform the car. How do i get one for £15K?!? haha
  20. Not one of the better episodes, but still, better than anything else on at that time
  21. LOL I know what you mean. When I think of the fun I used to have in cars I didnt give a sh!t about :D Keep it, be daft not to for the amount of money you will get selling it. Too true. Its cost me around £3k in repairs during the past 2yrs, so no point in selling, ever
  22. I have a similar problem (parting with it, not the emigrating part). I was going to buy myself a brand new car next year when my promotion kicks in, but i just cant bring myself to sell my rado. Its only an early valver, but its MY early valver. In some ways i wish i'd never bought it, then i wouldnt have this problem
