Fitted Mk1 Golf acc rubber pedal cover to match the new rubber brake/clutch ones fitted last week. Brake/Clutch rubber covers = £2 for both from GSF Acc Rubber from Mk1 = £5.60 from Stealers! :bad-words: Started sorting out rust on rear wheel arch. Temporary repair untill funds allow a trip to bodyshop later in year.

Thanks guys, clears that up. :salute: JMC - Receipt is a bit basic and just states "Supply 0.50 Oversize Pistons" for about £430. Was done by a place in Wales, 'AuudioGolfHits', and have been told that the place faded away once the owner passed away in the 90's. :(

2.8i was mine, untill the V6 engine turned into a V5. :(
-
That may explain it, have got an old reciept from the 1990's listing some engine work = rebore, skimmed block, new gas flowed cylinder head, oversize pistons, different cam. 8) WellLaneGraph09.JPG[/attachment:1itu8k24] Hoping with a full S/S exhaust it might just get over the 200bhp mark.

Been to Well Lane Turbo Centre at Batley with my 91' G60 for a rolling road session today and came away with a bit of a query. The technician was a bit stumped as his boost readings were giving him a max reading of 10 which he said was more normal for a standard G60, yet the C topped out at 197bhp, which was more normal for a chipped/pulley'd engine, (which was confirmed by G-Werks last summer, although type/make of chip unknown). I'm a complete numpty when it comes to boost pressure, so can anyone shed any light? Is there something a-miss somewhere? :pale: The Supercharger was serviced and P/P last year.

How long are your days!!!

Had the tracking checked after a couple of weeks with a new suspension kit on. Still not quite right. :( Anyone else had this problem of getting it spot on? The cars lowered and the guy said it only just fitted on the machine. Also advised that it needs some new rubber. :(

Schumacher/Brawn years were fantastic for Ferrari. Schumacher/Brawn years for the watching public

Why should the teams that read the technical rules and managed to design something better within the limits than the so called 'big boys' be punished? :cuckoo: Didn't see too many complaints last year when the Ferrari's and Mclarens were better designed than the rest of the field. So far we've had some of the best races in years with real competition further down the grid. Don't the teams realise to everyone outside of the F1 pit lane it all smacks of sour grapes. :camp: Also, Ferrari, please sack your PR team as yet again you seem to shoot yourself in the foot and do further damage to not only the racing team but the Ferrari brand as well. :epicfail:

If you don't mind me asking but how much did it cost to get your windscreen sorted? :confused4:

Here we go again. :hitler:

Stealers mate, think they are a pretty standard part. Got the plastic push in clips that attach to the door card last year without any problems, same as Golfs.
-
If its A1 condition then I'd leave as is, plenty of cheap ones on here and Ebay with the holes already cut out for you.

Would love to take that one to the garage, "can you just check the fluids my good man",

Doh! Forgot about the clocks and woke up just in time for the after race press conference. :( Pressed the red button and watched the highlights! :D Nice to see Coulthards still Mr Charisma, how many times will he shoehorn, "this clip is just like when I passed/raced/won etc" in the season? Just a quick query, if the BBC aren't allowed to blatantly advertise brands/products, why were the two reporters that run round the pit lanes dressed in overalls with very BLATANT brand logo's on? Could be a good season. :ignore:

Fitted it this morning, thanks for all the help. :salute: Still think I'm missing a few bits as the heatshield fitment seems a bit crude, just sort of sits with the cone/hose keeping it in place and the little tab wedged under the wing edge? No hooks or anything as mentioned above. :( Nice noise though! :D

Rubber Pedal Part No's for GSF? Sheffield branch = Numpties
Jay2 replied to Jay2's topic in Suppliers Forum
Bump for Part No. for Stealers? -
Cheers everybody! Aye, had noticed some edges on the heatshield and suspected they had some purpose, so thats a big help. :salute: Just cleaning it up and servicing the cone filter at the moment before seeing if it fits at the weekend. Thanks for the help. :notworthy:
-
Thanks everybody! :salute: Now makes sense. So apart from the pipe attaching to the Supercharger and the cone end bolted to the heatshield thats it? The heatshield just sits in the engine bay, no fasteners or anything? Sorry for all the questions but fitted one previously to a MkII Golf and that came with a bracket and fasteners.
-
Anybody got one fitted with some pics? Bought one second-hand and not sure I've got all the bits? Looking at the image on the JabbaSport website there seems to be a metal section that bolts to the Supercharger to fasten the pipe to, but don't seem to have it? Just have a metal section with no holes in it? Advice and pics appreciated. PS. Yes I know, particles, standard airbox, etc. But want more noise!

Barnsley local Stealers usually put some on Ebay every odd month. Black with grey lettering. Only know because the guy in the parts department always tries to sell me some. :D

Rubber Pedal Part No's for GSF? Sheffield branch = Numpties
Jay2 replied to Jay2's topic in Suppliers Forum
Thanks mate. :D Clears that up. Picked up the Clutch/Brake pedals from GSF this afternoon and tried the part number I'd got from a 'Search' on here but the computer said "No" and the guy behind the counter didn't look like he wanted to put too much effort into finding another 60p rubber part. Another trip to the Stealers. Is the part a generic Scirroco Acc rubber pedal? -
Anyone got the part numbers or know what rubber pedals I have to ask for at GSF? Rung up the Sheffield branch and been told they have never stocked them for Corrado's and the Mk1 Golf never had an accelerator pedal rubber? Used the Search on here which completely contradicts them? :( Whats going on? Do I need to ask for Mk2 pedal rubbers for the Clutch/Brake? Any help appreciated.

Think he knows alot about Corrado's after spending so much time fixing mine! :D Had it in for a service and fitting new Weitec suspension kit after I had a coil spring snap. Felt a bit better when he pointed to a Mk5 Golf in the yard which had also snapped a spring!
