Just had a quote from John at brentacre, I'm so happy I'll be ringing up to confirm it later. It's only £80 more than the re-newel from Performance Direct but that's with any mod I like with power capped at 300bhp. P.D. Wouldn't touch me with any mods. I can't believe it :D well happy!!!

Mine did this the other day, try the battery conectors, one of mine came lose. A shift tap with a hammer and it fired straight up. If it's a clifford alarm I might be able to give a you a tip, just PM. It was given to me when mine Fukt up. It then got ripped out!

For 600bhp, surely he will need neon washer jets?
-
Have you got a clifford alarm on it by any chance?

Here's mine (once again thanks to JimsG60 for hosting) http://novaprospekt.co.uk/corrado/rack/video016.3gp My Nokia 6320 records vids as 3gp files. On my PC at work it runs them fine with real player.

I'll have a look when I get a home, I'm travelling back from workington at the min. Is it a good or bad idea? Also, is it in or out you turn it to bring to boost in lower down and how much is best? Thanks RACK

I've just been reading something about adjusting the Boost Linkage, to make full boost come in lower down the rev range of a G60. Has anyone got any info or pics for this? Thanks RACK

Anyone got the number for Brentacre?
-
Mine has just come down £300 too. Has anyone got brentacres number? I'm gonna try and get a quote off them. And as for where I live. If anyone has seen the film when saturday comes. Well the slum places where Sean Bean lives is 100 mteres from my street. Thankfully theyve been knocked down now and replced with posh ones

Yeah, go for the sleeper look. The amount of people who think it's just a standard corrado and then here the roar from the charger is awesome! Oh and get the boost return mod done too!

Right, quick up-date. I've made the bracket that would mount the filter where the Carbon canister used to be. What I will be doing is getting a new intake pipe and possibly a new filter as I think the one I have from Jabba is only rated to 208bhp. I'm gonna be looking into which filter will would best. Either cone or cylindricle. Any views on this would be appreciated. It's a bit fddly to fit, but not too hard, probably about 20mins. I'll post some pics and more up-dates soon. Thanks RACK

It looks like someone has already made an SS induction pipe, so I might have to put that on the back burner for now. But I'm still coming up with ideas. I'm gonna concentrate on the heat-shield and wing mounted kit. I think if I make the wing mount kit using 1 metal pipe it could all be a bit rigid so I'm gonna look into using stainless pipes with an elbow. Would people still be interested in this? Thanks RACK

Cant fault you mate, a friend of mine is going in the summer. I was looking into it too, but can't do it yet due to stuff here.

I had a chav and his side kick do this to me last year. I was driving back home after having lunch with my girlfriend, and this chav'd up nova came to the side of me and started trying to race. Of course I wasted him but then he decided to keep doing it, so everytime he caught up I'd shoot off. I thought I'd lost him, then I got stopped at a red light, and he belted up in the other lane so he got a bit in fornt of me, and then him and his mate got out and started shouting, I just laughed at them. Then they made the mistake of saying something about my girlfriend. I got out with wheel brace in hand and an off the hook temper, I'm not usually glad of being a big lad but that day it helped :lol Why do all chav's seem to have a stupid chip on their shoulder??

I might have a heat-shield done for the weekend and have some pics ups. Also I think I can get away with using the big filter on the wing-mounted kit. I'll be doing a big of checking this weekend. The tricky bit is connecting the kit to the charger, but I'm gonna use a collet on the charger then a piece of silicone to connect to the SS intake pipe. As soon as I make one, I'll post pics up. I will obviously test it for a while on my car to make sure things are ok. Thanks RACK

I'm trying to get hold of most of the bits I need to make a proto-type and want to make something that will look good and help performance. Hopefully I'll have a few bits ready by next week if all goes to plan, so pics will be posted. Another thing I've thought about is, that if I can make something like the turn2 kit that goes into the wing, I might have to use a slightly smaller filter, and the carbon canister would have to be removed. I'm gonna try and look into making 4 things; a, complete induction kit, with heat-shield and SS pipe. b, just heat-shield for people with cone filters already. c, Blingin SS pipe from charger to filter d, Full wing mounted induction kit This stuff won't be ready for a while, and if I feel I can't make them to a high enough standard I won't waste people's time or more importantly money trying to sell them. Once agian thanks for the interest and comments and hopefully I'll have something to show soon. RACK

Mike, I'll have a look into it and see if I can knock something up. Harry, I'm also looking into this, I'll have a few bits put together in the next week or so, I'll put pics up asap Thanks RACK

I had to replace one of those pipes going to the bulk head about 6months ago due to it splitting. I'll have a look later. Cheers mate

Where abouts are the Henny? Cheers

How hard is it to change to heater matrix? I think mine has gone teets up! I'm only getting slightly warm air for about 45seconds then it's cold.

Right, I've been looking into things and come up with an idea. At the min Jabba are charging £141 (not sure if this includes VAT?) plus postage. This comes with a heat-shield. I've been thinking about producing my own, using the same type of filter (jetex) and making up a complete heat-shield, one which covers the top of the filter, from heat going over the wall of it. Those with a Jabba one know what I mean. Unless the heat-shield goes all the way up to the bonnet heat will get to the filter. So, I'm going to knock up a prototype and post pics, then test on my car. If I find an improvement I'll offer it for sale. If not, I'll not waste anyone's time or money. The price I'm aiming for would be between £90-£100 for each kit & heat-shield. I would like people's views on this and any input / constructive criticism very much. Thanks Loads RACK

I'll keep my eye out. Cheers mate. I'll look forward to the write up.

Thanks Dinkus, I forgot about the new forum set up. Thanks loads Geo. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the calipers from?

Sorry to drag this from the depths, but has anyone got any pics, info or "how to" for this mod? Thanks RACK
