    My old valver had an overheating issue, turned out the water pump had broken in two, pulley turned ok but the impeller didn't move at all, also discovered the thermostat was missing :)

    Ok, found it and it's in very good condition i'd say...........£15+p&p without VW badge or £20+p&p with badge. Postage should be about £5 i guess. All clips intact :) Cheers Martin

    The broken bit is the PCV(positive crankcase ventilation) and you can buy it seperate from FORD as the galaxy V6 shares the same engine. As for the whirring noise, that's the side where the chains/tensioner are, although i'm no expert on what right or wrong sounding in there?

    40 and on my second one. First was my aqua blue 2.0 16v(which i still regret selling) for 4/5 years and now have the VR6 which i've had just over 3 years........and is running as well as it ever has, can't ever see it leaving 8)
