So what's the twist? I'm intriged! :D

When was this pic taken? Needs to be entered for the calendar IMO, looks sweet as! 8) Glad you got rid of those crazy wheels, can't wait to see some pics with the Mo's on.

ah well done chaps, managed to use a few tips to remove all but the last 2 stickers. Found the stanley blade/nail polish remover seems to work best, but the 2 that are left are made of rigid plastic so I'm going to leave them for today. Cheers for the tips guys. :notworthy:

I've managed to remove pretty much all the stickers from the insides of my window except the alarm ones, you know the 'this car is alarmed by Cobra' type ones. They seem to be made of a different material/have different adhesive to the others as my usual trick of lighter fluid doesn't seem to be working. Anyone got an tips/suggestions?? Cheers

Sorry chaps but not a fan of any of those. Each to their own though eh?

Mine does the exact same thing, apart from mine is a coil pack model. Basically starts first time everytime when cold but once warm it always takes two turns of the key to start. Runs fine all the rest of the time and I even get about 30mpg all the time so I've just leant to live with it. Typical corrado 'character' trait..... :cuckoo:

whose got bentley wheels then? not seen any on anything other than a bentley.....

Well renewed my insurance today nd went with that Chris Knott. Very good service, guy I dealt with was really good and got me a good (well I think so) deal at short notice. So its a '94 VR6 Lowered on shocks and springs, and stainless exhaust (both declared). Parked on the street in city centre location. 9 yrs no claims (protected) £339 fully comp. Low excess as well. Well happy with that!

mic_vr your wish is seemingly their command! thanks to demand in the US, the stainless steel rat is indeed coming bank in '08:salute: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/back-to-the-past/delorean-confirms-new-cars-to-roll-out-in-08-291801.php Oh dear.... God help us all!

My fave thing about those cars is the fact that they used such high powered lights in the gullwing doors that if you accidentally left the door open for more than 4 mins without the engine on it would drain the battery! Still a quality car, maybe they'll bring them back just like VW have with the scirocco! :cuckoo:

From 1st down to 4th! I'm going down faster than a cheap hooker........ ok maybe its not that bad but still, hopefully I'll do better from the next race onwards.
-
Sounds like an earthing problem to me, I had a similar thing on mine and the guy who did the MOT fixed it for me.... think he just ran a short piece of wire from the headlamp connector to the body so it earthed properly. If you like I'll investigate it a bit further on my car over the weekend.... as long as it's not raining.

Hell yeah! Lets get as many corrado club members together as possible and arrange a viewing!

Dear god man, GO TO THE PUB!!!! Seriously though, lovely car and big hats off to you for taking on these details. It starts so simple but where to stop eh? Looking good 8)

Australian GP results + Corrado Forum League Update
mic_VR replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
Just sitting down to watch the replay now, hopefully this season will be a bit more entertaining. Haven't been a big fan of F1 for a fair few years but with the rule changes it should be a bit more interesting. Glad to see I've had a good first week although reading the fantasy league rules I see the first 2 races are going to be just practice points. All points are going to be reset to zero for race 3.... :( -
Unfortunately I've been too busy at work to sort anything on this, but I'll try to look into it a bit further when I get a bit more time as I'd love to get out on the track. 8)

PMSL!

Count me in, although I'm not really up on my F1 teams/drivers..... I think Nigel Mansells got a good chance this year though......

Urgent advice needed (petrol filled into a diesel car)
mic_VR replied to DEL VR6's topic in General Car Chat
Get a large jerry can and some tubing from halfrauds or B&Q. Put the tubing in the tank, suck a little through to start it off and drain the petrol into Jerry can. Refill to the brim with Diesel and any 'additives' that have bee suggested. You'll have to dispose of the petrol/diesel mix that you've drained off but hopefully it'll be ok. Although I heard that one way round (can remember whether its diesel in a petrol car or vice versa) was fairly catastrophic. -
The red led just flashes when me alarm/immobiliser is on, and the jack socket is for a manual override of the alarm system. just in case I lose a key fob i guess. If you unscrew and pull out your gauges, check that none of the wires going into the pod are touching at the connectors. If not, I would get a torch and make sure the sender is wiring correctly. when you're look at the sender (on top of the oil filter housing) the gauge wire should be connected to the left pole (marked with a G. If you can't see the sender very well, I'd swap them over and just see if that makes a difference. Hope that helps, and if all else fails and you want to post the pod to me I'll wire it up with a few fitting instructions?

Glad to hear thats what others are getting. And yes they are back lit, which looks a lot better than the dash and I have no idea why they didn't do them both that way. Guess it was a case of VW just sending bin parts over to Karmann and we're stuck with it now!
-
Cheers mate, I'm really impressed with them and I think they are fairly accurate. Getting about 4 bar oil pressure at cold idle and just under 2 bar at warm idle so about what I'd expect. Now if only I can sort everything else!

Well took my car out today for the first time for a proper run after replacing the wishbones and having the camber set. Car felt really good, although I'm sure the camber still isn't correct, and went for a fairly spirited drive with a bit of everything. Long fast sections, bit of redline footdown action and a few twisties. All was going great until I was heading home and all of a sudden I seem to have a problem with 3rd. No matter what I do it's now got a slight crunch into third, all the other gears are fine and once in third the car still pulls like a train. No good with gearboxes so no idea what's wrong but really starting to get hacked off with the bloody car now! no matter how nice I treat it, it still seems to break..... :(

Have you checked to make sure he's but the right wires on the right poles of the sender? Could be giving a dodgy reading. And what thingy on the thingy area? :?
